*FOR ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS, I LOVE YOU ALY!*
Armin sighed as he looked around the mess hall his friends were all laughing and messing around, having clearly more fun then they would if he was there with them, lately he hasn't been feeling very accepted as their friend anymore…As he took his food he walked to the back table. He sat down he stared at the food, 'I'm not that hungry…' He hasn't been eating lately; maybe it was because Jean picked him up the other day and called him heavy. He was officially spiraling into a pit of depression; he had felt that his friends were always just a little bit happier with out him there. I guess sitting in the corner of the mess hall watching people wasn't really helping him out in any way but he couldn't bear to be near anyone right now. He felt like just a big burden to everyone he encountered. So for now…He'll stay away from every and all people, it will be better for them all. He poked at his food, tears rimming his big blue eyes.
Today was the day she had successfully joined the scouting legion! It was her first day and she was a bit timid and nervous as she looked around trying to spot some people that looked nice enough to welcome her and maybe even help her learn the ropes. Damn the mess hall was big that's for sure! She thought as she walked around aimlessly, passing several groups, no one really caught her interest in till she reached the back of the mess hall, she could see a mess of blonde hair and a tear stained face. Poor boy, he looked so lonely and sad, she had the sudden erg to wrap her arms around the boy and comfort him. Maybe if he'd allow it they could be friends! Walking over to the blonde with a new found goal in her mind she took the seat next to him. Aly turned her head towards him, it seems he was to busy in his own thoughts to notice she was even there!
As she stared at the blonde she noticed simple details about him like how his eyes were so blue they looked like the sky itself! It seemed she was maybe only an inch shorter than him so that means he's pretty short himself but that only raises his cute factors! Slowly she raised her finger up to his cheek, gently poking the soft face of the male beside her, trying to gain his attention.
Feeling something poke his cheek he squealed a bit and scooted away, that had scared the living daylights out of him! He looked towards the source; it was a fairly short girl with fluffy light brown hair and beautiful greenish blue eyes. Was she new? Armin had never seen her before. She was so cute…and also looked surprised by his reaction. After a couple seconds she smiled at him. "Hi, glad you finally noticed me!" Armin could hug her! Her voice was so adorable! His cheeks flushed pink in embarrassment of acting that way in front of such a cute girl! She seemed really nice to. "H-How long have you been there?" He stuttered out finally. "About 5 minutes, not long!" She grinned at his flustered face. "You looked lonely and sad so I wanted to come check on you!" He blinked; this girl had actually cared enough to come check on him? Why? He didn't even know her, and besides out of everyone to sit with why him? He wasn't special, but still he was grateful that someone at least cared a little…"What's your name?" He snapped out of his thoughts. "Armin Alert…yours?" "Aly Williams!" She said, happiness just bouncing off of her! It kind of cheered him up…only a little but still. "Nice to meet you Aly." He said, sharing with her a small smile.
They both had a feeling they were going to get to know each other better and better with each passing day…
