People say that things will remain the same or change would be the hardest thing to do.

I, for one, have actually learned to know that...the hard way.

Trust is important, I know...

Yet, to have that same trust broken, is another thing.

"Joshua..."

You left me with scars. Scars not seen yet cut deep...

"Why...?"

You killed me. You used me. And then... you saved me...

"Where are you..?"

I need to know. I need to know everything. You left me here with questions. Questions left unanswered.

I'm here, at the backstreets of Udagawa. Will you come here if I wait for you...?

I'll wait as long as it takes, so just please. I need to see you.

Leaning against CAT's graffiti, I look up in the sky... wishing that you'd come.

"I..."

These feelings are wrong... I know. But what if… you have the same feelings that I have, would that still be wrong...? If the both of us feel the same, would the world still claim it to be wrong..?

"Does the world really evolve on what you do...? Does it begin with me..?"

"Joshua..."

I slid down the wall and hugged my knees closer. I dont care what other people would think of me now.

Shiki would probably get angry with me because my shorts are getting dirty. Beat would scold me for moping like this. And Rhyme would probably try to cheer me up.

They would do that, if they were here and not busy for today. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind them being busy and all. I mean, we also got separate lives right..?

Just like you... Every minute, I wondered what happened to you...?

Where you erased...? After all, only one person was allowed to have their life back again. And yet, you gave me, Shiki, Beat and Rhyme's lives back again.

"Joshua..."

I called you again and yet you're not answering.

Did you really get erased...? No, I don't want you to be gone. I still haven't said anything. You still haven't explained everything.

"Joshua..." I whispered, and then hung my head low.

"Never thought that you would be sulking like this... Neku."

Then I heard his voice and immediately looked up. To see his usual smirk, or was it a smile...?

"Come on, we don't have all day. We still have to go to places."

"Jo..shua..?" I reached out to him, to hold his hand that was generously offered to me. To see if it was real… He immediately grabbed hold of my hand and then suddenly...he brought me closer to him and he embraced me.

"What's wrong? Do you need a break, Neku?" He whispered while holding me close.

Typical Joshua, he said that again as if were fighting against Noise here. I'm not a kid!

"I don't need a break, Joshua! And.. nothings wrong with..me.." I pushed him away and crossed my arms. Although, I felt a slight blush on my face when I remembered our position a while ago…

"There...That's the old Neku, I know." And then he smiled at me.

From then on... Joshua came to visit me to see how was I doing... He didn't explain why he was there or why he suddenly had an urge to visit me.

He still is as mysterious as ever. Yet, I don't care anymore. As long as he's here...

As long as he's right beside my side... I guess I could say, he already answered it for me.
