I could see the eyes of the males following her as she cautiously crept from her hiding place. Her walk was graceful and despite the fear in her eyes, she carried herself like a queen. She walked to a point just inches from me and waited, her blue eyes fixed on me the entire time

I closed the gap by lowering my head and letting out a low meow as if to say "hello". I looked up and she returned the gesture.
