It was dark out, the clock in the corner ticking the seconds away. A man paced in front of the lit fireplace, smoking puffs out of his pipe. A small creature sat in the nearby chair, just... waiting.
The door opened, forcing the man to stop pacing, "Yes?"
The person peeked his head in, looking around nervously. "Um, are you...?"
"Inspector Lee," Lee took his pipe out of his mouth, ushering the man in before extending his hand, "At your service."
The man took Lee's hand, a flush over his cheeks. "Um, yes, my name is Matsuda, Matsuda Takato."
Lee nodded, "Yes yes," he sat down behind his desk, motion for Takato to do the same. "What is your problem?"
Takato looked down, his eyes shifting around, "Well uh..."
"Jeez Jen, this guy has more ants in his pants than you do!"
Takato forced his head up, eyes wide at the sudden third voice. Lee glared in the direction of the fireplace, "Quiet Terriermon, we have a client."
"Yeah," Terriermon jumped off his chair, padding over to the two humans, "But he's so jittery!"
"That's enough, Terriermon..." Lee forced a smile, returning his attention on Takato, "Yes, well, what can we do for you?"
"Well..." Takato gave Terriermon one last look before turning away. He bit his lower lip, "I can't seem to find my Digimon."
Lee nodded, "I see, and what is your Digimon?"
"Guilmon."
Lee blinked. "Who?"
Takato rubbed the back of his head, "His name's Guilmon, I created him. Um," he reached into his coat pocket, "I have some pictures I drew of him, it that'll help..."
Lee couldn't believe it, his first case in forever... and it was to find a made up Digimon.
"Well Jen, looks like you have your work cut out for you!"
And he was this close to choking Terriermon.
