Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto.
(I just love my disclaimers, don't you? )
Summary:
"It's going to be perfect! And you know that for the cake and the flowers it's going to be great and…"
"Hn. Dreams are for babies."
"EXCUSE ME? Don't you want a perfect wedding?"
"…Maybe with you."
It was a bright and sunny day in Konoha. The birds were chirping and the flowers were blooming. A knuckleheaded blonde ninja was (not) so far away gobbling up his ramen. That was normal, of course. It was a perfect day.
…Well. Except for a certain Uchiha. He was ambling near a pink-haired kunoichi who was rambling about happy endings and fairytales.
"-and then Eugene Fitzherbert (aka Flynn Rider) swooped in and saved Rapunzel by cutting her long blonde hair, and-" Babbling on, Sakura didn't notice the Uchiha snort at her childish ways.
"That's why it's a fairytale, Sakura. It's fake." Sasuke cut her short.
"It is so not fake! Don't you believe in happily ever afters?"
"Hn. No."
"That's because you are an emo butt!" Sakura huffed and crossed her arms. "I want a perfect wedding!"
Sasuke raised a delicate eyebrow. Weddings? She was just so random at times.
"I'm going to wear a snow white dress and a veil! I'll walk down the aisle with my dad, and meet my groom at the end. And-" She rambled on and on about her "perfect" wedding.
"-There will be dancing and presents and perfect bridesmaids. Ooh! There has to be a bouquet throwing! I hope Hinata-chan wins so she has luck when she marries Naruto…"
"Aa. Isn't this going to be costly? Who's going to pay for it all?"
Sakura shot him a look. Fine, she thought. If you're going to be this way, then be it. "I'll find someone rich. Maybe…Kiba perhaps?"
Sasuke twitched. Why did it have to be that dog boy? "He's a mutt. Sleeps like a mutt. Even sleeps with a mutt."
Sakura pouted. "Mou, why do you have to be so mean to Kiba-kun?"
The twitching was getting worse. "Kiba-kun?" He mumbled to himself.
"Sasuke-kun? Are you…jealous?" Sakura peered up at him with wide emerald eyes.
"No…" Though inside, he knew he was lying to himself.
"Okay…" He could tell she didn't believe him, but went on with her blabbering. "As I was saying, it's going to be perfect! A wedding by the beach! Or maybe in an expensive hotel…"
Smirking, Sasuke could see why he fell so hard for her. She was adorable. And she did most of the talking for him.
"The cake is going to be vanilla with frosting, but the flowers are going to be roses and daisies! It's going to be great and..." Still chatting endlessly, Sakura disregarded the Uchiha that had abruptly halted before her.
"Hn. Sakura, dreams are for babies."
"EXCUSE ME? Don't you want a perfect wedding, too?"
"…" Sasuke seemed to ponder that question for a bit. Did he want a perfect wedding?
"Sasuke-kun?" Sakura blinked, surprised by his silence.
He looked up, finally making his decision. "Sakura,"
She tilted her head cutely. "Yes, Sasuke-kun? Do you want a perfect wedding?"
"…Maybe with you."
"Wow. This is the wedding Sakura-chan dreamed all about, huh Teme?"
He merely nodded.
…Now I have my perfect wedding. It's here with you.
Haha. This one was okay, too. Hope you liked it!
