Chapter 1

"The white council meeting will be taking place in three days from now; once again in Rivendelle." Lord Elrond informed his general Lenegar who stood before him with a soft smile on his face.

"Is it because of the one ring my lord?" General Lenegar inquired.

"Yes very much." Elrond paused to take a deep breath "but that is not the reason why I am personally informing you this. There is another reason behind it." The lord of Rivendelle fixed his eyes on his general and continued "The lady of light arrived earlier than due time and that is mainly to inform me of her vision."

"A vision?" General Leneger's curiosity was on its peak. "Of what kind? I pray it is not something too unbearable."

"Nothing much but very ferocious King Thranduil." Elrond spoke like a mere statement but ofcourse the general got it's meaning.

"Why? Is lord Thradnuil joining us this time? He never usually does."

"This time he is Lenegar. And so as the king under the mountain Thorin Okensheild." Elrond couldn't help but feel sorry for her general come close friend's face change into a deep frown. Both knew it was about his daughter Yara. Lenegar was blessed with a child very late in life but of course was blessed with probably the most beautiful daughter the world. Her fairness was bright enough for the moonlight to even envy. Her smile shies brighter than the white gems of starlight. Her beauty beats the beauty of the lady of light, Lady Galadriel as well.

Lenegar's daughter is not the only one who possesses such a beauty, there was someone who looked exactly like her. To be more accurate it is actually Yara who looks exactly like her and that beautiful elleth's name was Miriel. Youngest child of Galadriel the lady of light and Lord Celeborn and younger sister of Celebrian. And most importantly the wife of the elven king of woodland realm Thranduil. Therefore for Yara bearing the looks of such a personality is both blessing and curse at the same time.

"Now…what do I do my lord?" Lenegar's voice dripped with fear. It was only natural to feel that way after all the whole arda knows the love story of Thranduil and Miriel and the effect she had on him and now that his own daughter looks exactly like the queen of woodland realm…it is guaranteed the consequences will be nasty if the king's find out.

"They will not stick around for long. Try to keep your daughter home all this time for her safety." Elrond suggested his friend.

"Lord Elrond…" A sob almost escaped the general "I cannot lose her, I cannot lose my daughter to king Thranduil. He is too cold, too cruel and heartless he will break my daughter into pieces. Please do something my lord." Elrond quickly got off his throne and rushed towards his crying friend to soothe him.

"Do not worry try your best to keep her home and here I will warn Arwen and Aragon to keep an eye on her even if she shows up." For now those words were the only thing that could calm Lenegar's mind even if it was a little bit.

Meanwhile at Arwen's room.

Lady Galadriel sat with her granddaughter Arwen and her granddaughter's little sister plus friend Yara, telling them stories of her daughters Celebrian and Miriel. Both the younger elleths listened with great interest.

"You seem to miss my naneth and lady Miriel a lot." Commented Arwen feeling a bit depressed thinking about her mother.

"I know I shall see them soon. When I sail to the west, where I will only be Galadriel" Galadriel commented calmly.

"Why do you need to sail to the west my lady?" This time Yara spoke up "Both you and lord Celeborn still appear so youthful." Both Galadriel and Arwen eyes the younger elleth with curiosity and the next words that escaped her lips were good enough to set fire "I four more this time. As far as I have heard it is quite simple all you need to do is just reveal each other lower intimate regions and-"

"Yara." Arwen elbowed her with full force that she could master in order to stop her. Yara was very simple minded free spirited eleth and her biggest problem she had no control over either her mouth or the words that come out of it.

Lady Galadriel laughed at her simple suggestion. She enjoyed being in Yara's company after all she was the mirror image of her youngest child.

"Come here my little one." The lady of light called the younger elleth opening her arms. Only in second Yara seized the opportunity and jumped into the ladies arm and both pulled each other into a warm embrace.

"Your foul mouth is what keeps us enlightened even in this darkness." She plced a soft kiss on Yara's forehead "You are our Mirien the brightest light that shines above all." Yara giggled in the ladies arm, the sound of her laughter was like the sweetest melody to any ear.

The sudden sound of throat clearing gets all the ladies attention. They turn to see Lord Elrond Along with his General Lenegar at the door.

"Adar." Both the elfing chirped with excitement. Yara ran to her father's arms while Arwen just stood up to greet her father and the general.

"Let us go home now. We all shall retire for the night." Lenegar spoke tugging a strand of his daughter's blonde lock behind her ear.

'she should be informed…now' Lady Galadriel eyed Elrond moving her head slightly.

'Will it be right?' Elrond asked back in their silent mind conversation.

'I do not…she should be ready. It is a lot complicated than it seems.'

"Lenegar we should inform Yara about our other visitors." Elrond placed his hand on Lenegar's shoulder in order for him to know that he is with him. Before Lenegar could open his mouth Yara beat him to it.

"Inform me what?" Her eyes were filled with curiosity, desperately seeking for answers.

"It will be safer if you stay indoor for a while till the time period of the meetings and by indoor I mean at your house Yara." Elrond spoke stroking the young one cheek.

"Why?" She arched her eyebrow "People coming to the council meeting are supposed to be good people. Are they not?" Both Elrond and Lenegar glanced at each other "Are they bad? Are they evil? Are they harmful?" Yara was quite talkative for her age. Her unending questions many at times seemed quite annoying beyond its measure. "Ada? Will there be bad soul present?" A sigh passed Lenegar's lips. His daughter was at times quite a challenge. Getting no answer from her father she cocked her head towards lord standing beside her father "Lord Elrond? Are they harmful?"

"No my dear they are good people but-" Elrond was cut off mid-sentence by his friend.

"but there is mad king that will be present among them." Ofcourse it did not scare Yara as Lenegar expected.

"Do not fret Lenegar," Lady Galadriel spoke in a calm voice getting everyone attention back at her "possibly she will push him away with her words. She may look like my Miriel but in personality they are words apart." Though her words were comforting but still Lenegar could not relax even a single nerve of his body.

"All these years he has refused to join to meeting of the council, then why now? Why does he have to delight us with his presence now?" Lenegar was losing his patience.

"Lenegar please." Elrond tried to calm his friend.

"I-I I cannot risk it my lady, Yara is my only child and for he is insane, he will snatch her away…he will force himself on her. He will ruin my pure little light." Her father sounded quite paranoid. And Yara was not a good listener but this time the topic itself was so interesting that it perked up her attention gave her ever talkative mouth a break.

'A mad king…in love with me? No I look like his wife? Her name is Miriel? Hold on …Miriel? That is lady Galadriel's daughter. I look like her? Howcome no one ever said that to me? Then… am I pretty? Will the king want to marry me? But I don't want to marry any old king…I would rather marry his son…but will Ada agree…hmmmm difficult situation.' A whole bunch of questions clouded young Yara's mind.

"How can we forget what did did the dwarves in Erebor? How he led an entire army of elves just for the sake of a hand full of jewels. His greed his beyond our thinking." Her father sounded quite angry at the whole situation. It seemed very natural to Yara after the way he described the king any father should be scared if they know that their daughter will be caught in his hungry eyes.

Yara on the other hand found the entire scenario interesting and scary at the same time. She didn't know which one to vote for. 'A greedy plus hungry king a mad one at that? How ironic!' Yara was having a hard time controlling her laughter; from a little annoying elf-ling to now she was someone so important. She watched how her father, Lord Elond and the Lady Galadriel had frown on their faces thinking about ways to keep her away from him. The entire situation seemed very comedic to her and Arwen, who was quiet the entire time because unlike Yara she was way more matured and understood situations from its core.

"Allow me to explain everything to you my child." Galadriel motion for Yara to come her which she obediently followed and knelt down before the chaise where the lady was sitting. And patiently listened to the tale that Lady Galariel told her about her daughter Miriel and her husband king Thradnuil of woodland realm.

After listening to everything Yara understood the depth of the scenario and assured her father

"Ada do not worry I shall not leave the house till the guests are gone." Her father face seemed quite relieved she was glad for that.

'Maybe sometime I can sneak my way into Arwen's room. There is no harm in thatis there any? I do not think so….'

Yara turned to face the lady again and this time saw a very different smile on her face, the meaning of which she failed to understand at that point.

Little did Yara know her life was about to turn upside down because of that silly decision.
