But honey...We're each other's weakness.
Doesn't that make us all the more special?
The twinkling light from the ignited log in the fire place graced throughout the bedroom of the cabin Luxanna had rented for the weekend. Hair still a bit wet, a towel hung over her shoulder prevents her clothes to dampen, she sighed.
She watched from the king sized bed, the view of light conquering the darkness and shadows dancing to where they can dodge the beams of shine that usually soothe her, but not tonight. She buried her head further in the pillow and squeezed the one in her arms.
Why is he taking so long?
She sighed again. No matter how impressive the Noxian assassin's skills are, Luxanna can not help but worry about his safety. Though they mostly meet in neutral or isolated grounds, it doesn't mean the chances of getting caught is zero. There are spies, hunters and Swain's weird raven that could figure out what they were doing, but of course she is extra careful with their meetings planning them as random as possible in different times and in different places. She wasn't one of Demacia's best for nothing, and same goes for Talon.
A few more moments passed still no signs of Talon, The blonde began to think he might had troubles finding the cabin or that she might have given him the wrong address. She mentally slapped herself trying to recall if she did the latter and continued to over think until she heard the familiar sounds of the wind's shift as it went against Talon's cloak quickly followed by a swift landing and the man's foot steps which had her heart beating ten times more. She quickly stood up as she skipped out of the bedroom door and saw the man of the evening already placing his cloak on the sofa in the middle of the living room.
Not a second later, she threw herself into the Noxian's arms, snuggling as close as she possibly can. Talon took a step back at the sudden impact but caught her nonetheless. They stayed like that for awhile breathing in each other's warmth and comfort.
"Lux"
The mage looked up as the warm voice caught her attention.
"I got something for you" the man then fished out a medium sized box from his satchel which caught the demacian's eyes.
Luxanna gasped, eyes wide in excitement "Are those what I think it is?"
The assassin smirked "It goes well in the cold weather up here in the mountains, and I like seeing that face light up genuinely and not that sickeningly sweet one in the posters around Demacia and where ever some random guy carry it in his baggage ends up in. For some reasons, said guys, always end up meeting my blades."
Luxanna still held held the surprised expression but now for a different reason but then shrugged it off with a nervous laugh, "I wasn't aware I was getting popular". But Talon wasn't amused "apparently yes, for all the wrong reasons. You have a bounty over your head. They think if they manage to get you, it will be a fatal blow to the Captain of the Vanguard and all of Demacia itself."
She frowned, "Well they'll be wasting resources. They don't know I'm a mage, they'll never catch me." The noxian's eyes softened.
I'll never let them.
He then proceeded to kiss her on the forehead which made her blush slightly. "They won't".
