Hi everyone, so since there was such a reaction to my last Fifty Shades fanfic, I thought I would try out another idea on you guys. This takes place about ten years after Fifty Shades Freed, Ana and Christian are living their lives with their two children when suddenly a part of their past is suddenly back in the picture. Interested, good so before I can start that though of course these aren't my characters, and saying that I apologize since I've never written sex scenes before. So please do follow, favorite and or review it lets me know that people do want this story to continue. So here is the first chapter of Jack is Back.
Ana POV
I'm sitting up in bed curled up on my side, it's about six-thirty in the morning and I watch as the sun comes streaming through the bedroom window and shines down on my husband making him look even more gorgeous than usual. He looks sexy as hell, I can't believe that we will have already been married for ten years this Saturday, it feels like less and at the same time more years than that. I sometimes think about how incredibly lucky I am to have this incredible man in my life. He is a great father and an even better husband although he still doubts himself. After ten years everytime I look at him I'm amazed that this is my husband, this is my life. He starts to stir,
"Good morning Mrs. Grey, what are you doing up so early"
he sighs sleepily pulling me down to the mattress.
"Good morning Mr. Grey, I was just watching you sleep" I smile
"Well, since we're both up and you look so fucking sexy in the early morning light wanna see if we can make a third little blip," he asks his eyes are dark in that way that usually ends very well for me. It probably would have if we hadn't heard a small knock on our door.
I look over, it's our seven and half year old daughter Phoebe.
"What's wrong princess?" Christian asks and immediately is out of bed and crouch down in front of her. Phoebe is Christian's little princess he absolutely spoils her and she has had him wrapped around her finger since we found out we were having a girl.
"Daddy, my head hurts?" she says, she's holding her stuffed panda her favorite thing in the world, he feels her head with his hand.
"She feels warm, baby go to mommy while I get the thermometer. When he gets back he checks her temperature,
"Yeah baby you got a fever go back to bed now okay," he tells her she nods and leaves our room.
"I'll stay with her, you have that big meeting today, and don't worry about her it's probably just a flu bug that will pass in a few days," I tell him.
Once he's left for work I let Gale and Sawyer know that Phoebe is sick and I'm going to be staying home with her.
"The poor little dear, why don't I make her some chicken soup," Gale says, she has been like a second grandmother to both the kids since we first brought Teddy home from the hospital.
"That would be great Gale, thanks" I get dressed and go downstairs to get our mail. As I ride back up I absentmindedly flick through the envelopes. One from the bank, one from Kate, Elliott and little Ava who are on vacation, one from my dad, and then when the doors open I see one that makes my heart stop, it's from Washington State Penitentiary. I walk briskly towards the library.
"Mrs. Grey I made the soup should I bring it to Phoebe or would you like to?" Gale asks just before I enter the library. Christian and I are both very hands-on parents after Teddy was born we agreed that we didn't want a nanny cause we wanted to be the ones who raised our kids. I would usually have brought the soup to Phoebe myself but I needed to see what this letter was about.
"If you wouldn't mind Gale could you bring it to her I have an important matter I need to attend to at my desk," I say trying my best to seem calm.
"Certainly Mrs. Grey, is everything alright?" she asks, after living with me for ten years I guess she can tell something is bothering me.
"Its nothing Gale, I'm fine," I tell her and quickly go into the library. I open the envelope and read it.
"No, no, no this can't be happening this can't be happening" I reread it.
It says that Jack Hyde is up for parole. How could he already be up for parole? I try to calm down, I can't tell Christian at least not yet, he has his big meeting today and he needs to focus on that. So I do the next best thing to protect my family, I call Taylor.
"Mrs. Grey hello is everything alright," he asks, over the past ten years I come to really be fond of Taylor, he and Gale got married. I almost have come to think of Taylor as like a second father to me.
"Taylor something has happened but I can't tell Christian about it, at least not yet," I tell him
"What is Mrs. Grey are you and the children okay," he asks worried, he is quite fond of both Teddy and Phoebe and is almost as protective of them as Christian is.
"For now yes, It's Jack Hyde, I just got a letter saying that he is now up for parole," I say my voice shaking
"Mrs. Grey, forgive me if I'm overstepping but I really think that Mr. Grey should know about this," he says and I know that he's right
"He will, it's just he is very busy today when he comes home tonight I will tell him," I say
"Alright Mrs. Grey, also don't worry too much just because he's up for parole does not mean that he will get it," Taylor says trying to calm my frayed nerves.
The next few hours go by quickly and soon I'm pacing in the parlor waiting for Christian to come home. Soon I hear the elevator ping and see him step out. He immediately notices that something is wrong,
"Ana, baby what's wrong is Phoebe worse?" he asks worry etched on his face. I hand him the letter
"Jack Hyde is up for parole," I tell him all day I have been trying to be strong so that no one would ask but when I tell him I break down crying.
"Ana, baby, its okay, its okay don't cry, I'm not letting that fucker hurt you or our family I promise," he says wrapping me in his arms around me. Teddy comes in and sees me crying he comes over and hugs my legs
"Don't cry mommy, it's okay" I quickly wipe my tears away
"Don't worry baby boy mommy's fine ok now go play in your room I need to talk with daddy" I tell him, he leaves and me and Christian sit down
"I already informed Taylor of this he says we shouldn't worry since there's no guarantee that he will actually get parole.
"If I have anything to say about it that fucker won't get out till he's being carried out in a body bag" Christian snarls.
Later that night we're tucking Teddy into bed
"Daddy can ask you a question?" he asks
"Sure buddy, what is it," Christian asks
"What's a fucker," he asks, it's all I can do not to bust out laughing right then
Christian gets this horrified look on his face
"Buddy, that's a grown-up word, now I don't want you saying it, but since you asked it means a very, very bad person," he says
"Why is Jack Hyde a bad person who is he?" Teddy asks, clearly he heard Christian and I talking.
"He is a bad person who a long time ago, tried to hurt me and your mommy, and Grandma and Grandpa Grey and Aunt Mia" Christian tells him
"If he comes back is gonna tried to hurt me too," Teddy asks, he looks so scared
"Buddy listen to me okay, no one is going to hurt you, Mommy and Daddy are here to protect you and so is Taylor, Jack Hyde isn't going to get anywhere near you ok I promise" Christian looks serious.
We say goodnight and when we get into bed I hope we never have to put Christian's promise to the test.
