He's fifteen now, and in love with his best friend... Who happens to be an immortal, god like winter spirit. But he's only getting older, and in a few years he'll probably be taller than Jack...
He's fifteen now, and Jack is kissing him, gently, letting Jamie take the lead- the mortal boy has all the power here, to break off the kiss or continue it, and he pulls Jack closer, kissing him deeply, and it just feels so right (and he can hear Cupcake and Tooth fan-girl squealing, clasping hands and dancing in a little bouncy circle at the sight of Jack and Jamie kissing), and neither of them notice the tendrils of shadow until they're holding Jack down and rubbing against him, sending him in to throes of ecstasy before Jamie notices them and they dissolve from his shock.
He's fifteen, and he's not sure if he trusts the woman in front of him, spouting about 'Mutant Superiority', and he's not willing to stick around, because this is bull crap, so he grabs Jack's hand and they blast ice and nightmare sand at her before the wind picks them up unbidden and they flee from her.
He's fifteen, and the bald man in the wheelchair is definitely more trustworthy in his mind, and Jack agrees. The man, Professor Charles Xavier, is preaching a mission of peace for all the world, and that's something Jamie can get behind... But Sophie can't, it seems, because she starts throwing a tantrum that makes the trees outside start trying to come inside and it takes an emergency visit from Bunny to calm her down (Jamie has often and long suspected she might fall on the Autism/Asperger's scale, because he knows their mother doesn't spoil them, and Sophie is ten, and very few children throw major tantrums at that age, like Sophie does if her routine is changed too much; but they can't really afford to have her tested, so they just take it a day at a time, like Dad's cancer), but by the end of it, Sophie is sleeping calmly, and everybody is worn out, except Xavier, who's just looking at it like he's seen and survived worse than trees trying to eat him.
(And it turns out trees are NOTHING on what his God-daughter can do, and she's WAY more unstable than Jamie has ever thought Sophie to be.)
He's fifteen now, and he's a superhero too. (Jack really likes the skin tight uniform...)
