Um... this. This is about a character of mine for the BATMAN THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD world. Just wanted to see what folk thought of my poetry. Lemme know if you like it, if you want me to write more about her, or if you think she's just another Mary Sue. (You should have seen her before her makeover...YEESH.) So please give me input!
Silver
"The moonlight was strong
On that bitter silver night
When the girl in the blue dress was changed
The alchemist's wrongs
The shivers of fright
That immortal silver, so painful and strange.
First came the spell
Howling through the sky
She was a child of nine I believe
That chant her death knell
No true reason why
This particular child was chosen to grieve.
Through greed she was made
And from greed she was saved
For the silver struck back and the alchemist fell
When the pain she forbade
To make her enslaved
Truly her screams were his own death knell.
Now that silver so cold
Is the armor she wears
In a world unchanging where she strives to do right
A tale centuries old
Her eternity bears
That bitter resolve in the silver moonlight. I am Nyx."
