I apologize for anyone who didn't like "When Carter Met Abby", my computer crashed in the middle of it, and it posted. I thought I was posting a different version, but I posted that instead. Again, I apologize to anyone who read the story. I hope this doesn't stop anyone from reading my other stories…

****Four Weeks Later****
Abby and Carter's relationship was going strong four weeks later. They spent all their free time together and even though rumors were flying around the ER, no one besides them knew how great the relationship really was. However, unknown to Carter, Abby was going through her own battle inside her body. She had tried to convince herself that it was just the stomach flu, but after three straight mornings in a row, Abby couldn't hide the fact that she knew something else was going on.
A couple of days later in the ER, a horrible trauma had come in. Kerry was the doctor in charge, ad Abby had been the nurse, until she had gotten sick and had to run to the bathroom. As she finished throwing up her breakfast and sat with her back against the side of the stall, she heard footsteps enter the bathroom.
"Abby? Are you in here?" Kerry's anxious voice echoes through the nearly empty bathroom.
"First stall." Abby said leaning her head back and closing her eyes.
"What's the matter Abby? You haven't been looking well lately and now this…" Kerry said pushing open the door to the stall and seeing Abby.
"Can you do me a favor Kerry." Abby said with her eyes still shut.
"Sure."
"Don't tell anybody. But I'm pregnant."
"Wow." Kerry said truly shocked.
"And I don't know who the father is. I took a home pregnancy test after John left for his shift this morning." Abby said putting her hands on her head and sighing loudly.
"Do you want me to do a sonogram for you? We can figure out how far along you are."
"Yeah, I guess so." Abby replied starting to stand up.
"Come on, we'll get you all checked out." Kerry opened the door to the bathroom for Abby as she walked out. "Stay here and I'll see what's open." Kerry said as she walked towards to front desk.
"Randi, what room is open?"
"Uh, exam room 3."
"Good, don't let anyone in there. Just put my name on the board. If you need something, page me."
"Okay dokey." Randi said and watched Kerry turn around and walk towards the exam room. Getting bored, she went back to reading her magazine just barely missing seeing Abby walk into the room with Kerry.
****A couple minutes later****
"Okay, Abby, it looks like you're about four and half weeks pregnant."
"Oh god."
"Do you want to see your baby?"
"Umm…no." Abby said keeping her face turned away from the screen. Silently calculating in her mind, Abby started to cry. "John's the father." She said to no one in particular but herself. However, Kerry heard.
"I think you should go see your OB/GY, for a better check-up. Are you going to keep the baby?" Kerry asked, while finishing up her examination.
"Uh, I'm not sure yet." Abby answered, but knowing the answer full well.
"Okay, well, we're done."
"Thank you Kerry. Please don't tell anyone yet." Abby said begging.
"Of course not." Kerry said and left the room to give Abby time to change and collect her thoughts.
"Oh god." Abby said again once she heard the door shut.
