Overrated

It was irrational all right. What else could explain why he was standing on the roof, letting the rain soak him when everyone else was indoors, seeking shelter from the cascading water droplets that threatened to ruin their clothes or books or whatever that could be destroyed by it?

He closed his eyes and tilted his head towards the sky. It almost felt… nice, despite the fact that the rain was making his hair straggly and stick to his face in irritating gold strands.

"You're really stupid, ochibi-san." A strong arm looped itself around his neck almost carelessly.

A vein twitched above his eyebrow, but he forced himself to stay still.

"What's it to you?"

A sigh, then he felt the Sin beside him lean a chin on his shoulder. He didn't have to turn around to know that Envy was smirking away amusedly.

"Don't you humans always get sick when you're out in the rain or something? Oh, I can see it. You'll be sneezing and coughing your head off tomorrow morning, feeling all miserable and sorry for yourself, all for the sake of a few minutes of irrationality. In the rain."

Edward only laughed. "Rationality is overrated."
