Dislcaimer; I don't own them. If I did... lets just say not even 4kids could edit it enough to make it okay for children. If you DONT like yaoi and incest, don't torture yourself by reading. Theres your warning.
Prologue
Mokuba turned away. He couldn't meet those earnest eager eyes. Their openness burned a hole in him, overwhelming him with thoughts and emotions that were not his own. The emotion in them consumed him and he had to look away.
"I'm sorry Yugi." Mokuba told him, voice melancholy. It was hard to deny Yugi anything. He just always looked so sweet and innocent- childlike. But this, this was one thing Mokuba had to tell him no. What Yugi was asking for… was no longer his to give. He felt slightly guilty for not being able to give him such a small simple thing after everything Yugi had done for him but his resolution pushed the emotion back. Afterall, you can not give something you do not have.
"I'm too late, aren't I?" Yugi questioned.
"A little." Mokuba replied honestly, offering a small comforting smile.
Yugi returned it for less than a second before asking another question. "Can… can I atleast know who?" The question was full of defeat, tinted with jealousy.
Mokuba became instantly fascinated in the floor, the walls, anywhere that wasn't Yugi. "Niisama." He said blushing lightly. He knew most people wouldn't approve but surely his best friend would. He might not love Yugi but the amethyst eyed boy's acceptance was still important to him.
There was a pregnant pause; a moment of awkward silence, as Yugi stared, shell-shocked. Yugi searched the raven haired youth's face, searching for a hint of a lie. There was none. "But… how could you? It's disgusting and morally wrong." Yugi stated, not maliciously, but as though he were merely stating a fact and not a belief. As if he was truly wondering about the possiblitity that that could happen. As if he truly believed those words.
Mokuba clinched his hands into fists and glared at the smaller game king, converting his hurt to anger. It was easier to manage that way. "Out of all people, I never thought you would be the one to say it. " He spoke the words with a slow calm that belied his hurt. It was with that same calm that he turned on his heel and walked out the front door.
Yugi merely sat down where he had stood, for his legs had given out, weak from guilt. Guilt from the fact that he was the one who hurt Mokuba so badly, the boy wouldn't even hit him. He was the one who made Mokuba leave, probably to never come back again.
/Yugi?!/ Yami called to his light mentally, feeling the overwhelming emotion.
/Yami… am I wrong?/ It was more a thought to himself than a question. He didn't expect an answer. Yami didn't give him one. Instead, he retreated and Yugi was left to ponder in silence.
