Hi "insert reader username here" and welcome to my story! I only have a basic setup for the story so if you want something to happen just tell me and I'll try to incorporate it. My first real story so don't hate or do I'm not your mom. This takes place before Meteora makes her way to the castle but after Bam u pati. Reviews are welcome and I will try to update regularly if you read the previous incarnation don't worry everything is similar in that story. But portrayed differently. I don't own anything but OC's and this story.

In the Mewni castle Star butterfly the rebel princess was in the most boring meeting in the multiverse.

Her mom was trying to teach Star about the Mewni Economics's and how much profit they were gaining or whatever she didn't care, she was imagining about how much fun

today was going to be. She and Marco were going to exploring every dimension in the multiverse they will tread New grounds, fight New threats, eat New food it's going to be great! "Star your not even fake listening this time, honestly I really think you should learn some of this, it will come in great use one day" her mother was saying

"I don't understand why you aren't more interested in this it's really fascinating when you get into it"

"Why would I be interested in something so Boring? Star complained "There are So many things I would rather be doing right now. Like I don't know traveling the multiverse looking for new dimensions and having fun with my best friend." she explained

"New dimensions? That sounds preposterous, what if you were to meet something unfriendly? We can't have anything bad happen to the next queen of Mewni can we?"

" If I found a monster I'd just beat it up, that's the whole point of going." she explained

" I swear I will never understand you go now and be careful I don't want to have to come rescue you." she joked

" OK thanks Bye mom!" star said as she jumped up out of her chair and dashed out into the hallway

Star was certain if her mom thought about her adventure too much she would end up stopping it, so she ran to Marco's room as fast as she could.

Marco sat in his room thinking about the adventure they were about to have his mind was clouded with thoughts swirling in his head last a few nights ago him and star got stuck in the photo booth and things... didn't go as planed. And ignoring all the drama that was going on he didn't see it at safe even with all the stuff going on he still deeply cared about her and if anything were to happen he would see it as his fault. Although the adventure was initially his idea he was having second thoughts about it as he had never been to more than 30 or so dimensions so far and he had no idea if an entire dimension could be made of fire or snakes or spikes or black holes... Marcos thought was interrupted by Star kicking Marco's door down

"MARCO! are you ready? are you ready? This is gonna be Epic! I can't Wait!" she was practically screaming. Marco interrupted "Star maybe we should just stay in Mewni, I think your mother would prefer you to not be up and out there since Meteora destroyed saint Olga's. And honestly I could use some time alone right now, but you could go by yourself if you want to maybe I'll go next time"

Star frowned "Marco if things are weird for you and you don't want to go, I understand things are weirder than ever and I thought if we had a good old adventure like we used to maybe stuff wouldn't be so weird between us." she stood there silently and looked down unhappy as ever and as her best friend Marco felt he was obligated to help her feel better. He took out his dimensional scissors looked at her and smiled "Hey Star where do you want to go first?"

She looked up at him and smiled "thanks Marco" she said as she pulled him in for a hug. She started returning to her normal self.

"First dimension? I'm thinking one with thousands upon thousands of puppies!". She swiped the dimensional scissors from his hands and tore open a portal it was shaded tan with brown stripes. Star jumped in followed by Marco shortly after.

Star appeared before a crowd of animals in a plane of grass not only puppies but with kittens, small hedgehogs and many others, they all had one thing in common they all looked to be two or three years old Star was gaping at all of the tiny animals.

"Awwww they're sooooo Cuuutttee!" "Hey Star" Marco said as he came through the portal don't just take my scissors when ever you feel like I earn them and I don't want you to break them, and I thought you took us to a place with puppies not baby animals."

"Marco three things number one you can't break dimensional scissors, number two you can't expect them to work perfectly to go to a dimension we didn't know existed, and number three Look at them! They're sooooo Cuuutttee!" she raised a tiny fox to him "Aaaaahhh! so cute! If you don't like this dimension then open up a portal they will be here when we get back." Marco opened up a new portal almost instantly and walked through. "Uh fine she sighed and got up. By cuties!" she said as she walked through the green portal.

She arrived to a dimension with strange bug like creatures littering the landscape Marco stood there frustrated "what are these! They don't look anything like them!"

"Heyyy Marco where are we?" "I tried to take us to a dimension with dinosaurs but all I got was these things." he gestured at the bug like creatures. "Marco Marco Marco you gotta think wide range we can't get exactly what we want so we aim for similar to them these things are probably someone else's dinosaurs. Let me see she grabbed the scissors again lets go for a dimension made entirely of candy!" she opened a new portal one that was bright red and jumped in. Marco sighed and walked through.

Star landed on the ground and instantly almost got her head chopped off a spinning saw blade machine and jumped away from it and was stabbed in the leg by a spike wedged in the ground as Marco walked through he tried to dodge the saws but was sliced on the arm Star jumped over to him and pulled him to the ground. In a panic he shouted "WHATS HAPPENING!" " I THINK THIS IS A DIMENSION OF TRAPS! Marco looked around and saw that she was right, endless amount of saw blades, spikes, and balls of death rang around them when he looked back at Star she had already opened a portal that was dark and purple he had an ominous feeling about is but had no other choice he narrowly misses getting his arm cut off and flew in the portal.

He landed with an oomph in a foggy purple mist he straitened himself out and looked around he couldn't see more than 20 feet ahead of him in any direction Star got up beside him "That was insane we could have died! He shouted"

"How was I supposed to know Candyland turned into land of death traps!"

"That was crazy I knew this was a bad idea now we are in creepy purple land! What is this place anyway?"

" The first thing I thought of was the safest place in all the dimensions so I guess this is the safest place anywhere.

"Or the most dangerous place anywhere these things aren't exactly reliable" Marco inquired

they waited for 10 seconds looking into the empty clouds. "Seeee?! I get things right every once in awhile anyway Marco you got a pretty bad cut on your arm are you okay? We both got cut up pretty bad back there if only I knew some healing spells that don't turn your arm into a monster." she was cut off by some grunting in the distance they both simultaneously turned in that direction Star started walking forward Marco quickly caught up with her

"No no no no no! Don't it could be dangerous!" he warned " But it could be someone who needs help and no one else is going to help them what if its buff frog! I would want someone to help me." Marco sighed and started walking forward too as they approached the grunting grew louder until they came across what appeared to be a giant crystal infused purple worm who was in deep pain.

The devices holding it in place was some sort of magic infused chains and a big electrical device attached to the worm both drew power from a console located right next to them "Sir let us get you out of there! Star insisted. It opened it's one eye and looked at them. Its pain could be seen in its weak glace before it closed abruptly in pain. one look at the contraption showed that whoever put it there put it there for a reason. "stand back Marco." Star raised her wand "Wait star! it could be dangerous letting him out he could be a really bad guy" he warned "Or it could be a good guy imprisoned by an evil oppressor!"

The worm looked at Marco pleading in it's eye. Marco looked back then looked at Star she was going to do it anyway so why not support her "He can't fight back if he's locked up they smiled at each other Star looked back at the console "Laser Beam Blast!" a laser beam shot out of star's wand and turned the console to dust. The large worm fell to the ground all of its magical shackles faded away the worm started to levitate off the ground that's when they got a good look at it it was big about 20 feet long and 3 feet in diameter. "Thank you for helping me it said let me do something in return." Moments later the worm glowed purple and Star and Marco's started magically healing.

"Hello My name is Star and this is my best friend Marco!" the worm stared in silence for a period of time then introduced itself " Greetings my name is...Dog." "Like the animal?" Marco nudged Star with his leg. Dog stared at them again "I suppose so." "who locked you up in there?" Dog's eye flashed with hatred for a split second "An old enemy a very bad person really... say why don't we travel somewhere else I have...bad memories here.

"Marco pulled Star over to the side "Do you really think we should bring him back to Mewni? I don't trust him." Marco eyed Dog suspiciously "Come on Marco didn't you hear him he is the good guy he fought against a bad person and they locked him up isn't that proof enough?" " I'll follow your lead but I'm keeping an eye on him. He replied unconvinced "Okay Dog I will open up a portal but it will be a tight fit okay?" she opened up a portal to Mewni and Dog stared at the scissors in Stars hand in curiosity "like I said tight fit but I can stretch it a little bigger." She started to open the portal more but Dog shook his head "No need." He said as he began shrinking into a two legged form wearing a dress much similar to her own. As she looked into his eyes she saw her own eyes looking right back at her.

"YOUR A SHAPE SHIFTER!" she yelled as she started jumping up and down "Wow Cool! How does it feel to be me?! Awesome right!?" Marco stood there in shock as Star jumpily ran into the portal Dog immediately followed Marco quickly ran into it as well.

Well what do you think is it too fast paced too random not enough Starco? (Starco will be addressed later on in the story) this story is really fun to write so if people like it i'll keep writing so please review even if its criticizing ill make it better for you. I will try to update next week although right now i'm on a roll and might even update tomorrow. pray to the Doomslayer... (good joke me (thanks me))
