Hello all~ I decided to write this since NaruHina is one of my favoritest couples in the anime world's existence. But don't worry. Other couples will be mentioned. I do not own Naruto or any Naruverse characters!
"A-a-a-a-nd then K-k-k-kiba and I got the stolen goods back." Hinata managed to utter out, barely audable.
Tsunade sighed. Hinata had potential, probably more potential then any other kunoichi in the village, but the girl was just too damn afraid to even speak, let alone fight. She just needed a push, something to motivate her….
"I'M BACK!" A blond haired fireball said as he burst through the door.
Tsunade internally cringed. Now here was someone who didn't know who when to shut up. Then, an idea popped into her head. It was crazy, but just crazy enough to work.
"Why did Grandma have to stick me with a weirdo like you?" Naruto said, his head stuck up high, his orange jumpsuit seemingly brighter than ever.
"I-I-I don't know." Hinata said, her eyes never leaving the ground.
"Well, it's just a stupid D-Class mission. Let's find the stupid cat and get it over with. I have some ramen to eat." Naruto said.
"A-a-a-alright."
The mission was a disaster. They had spent the whole day just trying to find the cat, and when they did, they were totally unprepared for it's wrath. Hinata was tired, more than she had ever been before. If she were with Kiba and Shino, this mission would've been a breeze. But with Naruto…
"I CAUGHT IT!" Naruto shouted for the thousandth time, jumping towards the cat, only for the cat to casually sidestep and walk away with its head high.
"M-m-m-maybe you shouldn't shout…." Hinata mumbled.
"What?" Naruto said. "I can't hear you!"
"I said…"
"Whatever. Let's get this done." Naruto said, completely ignoring Hinata.
That was the last straw for Hinata.
"You listen here! I'm a member of this team, and this is also my mission! So either you listen, or you leave!" Hinata said, well, basically screamed.
Naruto just stood there.
"I-I'm so sorry…" Hinata began.
Naruto instead just smiled his signature smile and said "That's the first time you've talked to me without stuttering." Then, in a really gentle voice, he said "You have a really pretty voice." Then, he walked away, leaving a dumbstruck Hinata.
