Another original Theodore Tugboat story, this time it's "Ice" with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.

It was wintertime at the Big Harbor. Large sheets of ice covered the blue water..

The Dispatcher called an emergency meeting with all the tugs.

"This year," announced the Dispatcher. "I am putting all of you in charge of pushing the ice away. It might be dangerous, but we all want to be really useful tugboats."

Hank, Theodore and George set off at once to pull the ice.

The first blocks of ice were easy to move.

"It's gonna get harder as we get along." said George.

"Why is that?" asked Hank.

"Because the colder it gets, the more ice forms" said Theodore.

George was worried. He was old, and had struggled with pulling big blocks of ice before.

"Don't worry George." said Theodore, "we'll help you out."

George felt better, but he was still nervous that something bad would happen.

As the afternoon rolled in, most of the ice had been cleared from the Big Harbor.

However, there was a gigantic iceberg left to clear. Once this iceberg was gone, then all the ice would be gone from the Big Harbor.

"How are we going to clear this iceberg?" asked Hank.

"I'll clear it!" said George.

The others were worried.

George began to push. He pushed, and he pushed, and he pushed, but he couldn't move the heavy iceberg.

Then, it happened. Smoke began pouring out of George's engines because he was pulling too hard!

"Stop pushing George!" called the other tugboats.

But George managed to push the ice away, right before he overheated!

When they arrived back, the Dispatcher was very pleased.

"I'm am very proud of you all for moving the ice away. You are all really useful!"

Everyone smiled, including George.
