But one night a year all crime was legal

its year 2413 everybody was employed. nobody was in prison. nobody was executed. Wait yes people were one night a year for twelve hours one person would be executed by family, friends, colleagues, and even emergency responders.
Every year on October 7th from noon to midnight you try to stay alive and calm if you didn't want to kill. but otherwise you were out in your mask with any weapon you had to kill and only kill the victim of the night.
Supper October 6th at the Millers home
"why don't you kill at the purge", asking his parents, said Robert. his parents replied " we don't believe in killing." but its the one night you can get rid of all your anger against anyone or anything." said Robert. "Yeah why don't you believe in killing when you have a revolver in the control room" said Courtney. "Wait how do you know about the revolver" Mom questioned. " its for protection just in case we are the victims of the purge." dad said reassuringly. We also have a machine gun and a couple rifles and couple hundred rounds of ammo in the control room. WOW! can we see, dad? NO! said both parents. Courtney clear the table please then time for bed you know we have the purge tomorrow.
