It was a Christmas time at Beacon Academy, snow was falling almost everyday, coating the school in a blanket of sparkling white powder, so much so that the school had issued an advisory to students not leave the Dormitories until the snow let up. Blake and Yang were hanging out with Team JNPR and playing video games. While Ruby and Weiss were watching a holiday special in Team RWBY's room in Christmas themed pajamas.
"I love Christmas specials, don't you Weiss?" Ruby says with a wide smile on her face as she cozies up under her blanket. "I guess they're ok, I must admit they have their charm." Weiss says with a warm and gentle smile. Ruby loved when Weiss smiled, because it was the kind of smile that Ruby rarely got to see, but always treasured seeing because she knew that's the kind of joy and happiness Weiss deserved to feel. Ruby found herself staring at Weiss and smiling at her, Weiss noticed after a few seconds. "Ruby, why are you staring at me?" Weiss asked her teammate. "I just love seeing you smile, Weiss." Weiss blushed a bit almost immediately. "Ruby?" Weiss said with a feeling of uncertainty. "Is something wrong Weiss?" Ruby asked Weiss with a feeling of worry for her teammate. "Ruby, please look up." When Ruby looked up, she saw a mistletoe that was suspended in the air by a string tied to a pencil that Weiss held above their heads. Weiss was blushing intensely as she held the mistletoe above their heads. "Weiss, I don't know what to say." Ruby said with surprise. "So I'll do this." Ruby says just before she kisses Weiss. It was a kiss filled with passion. Weiss widened her eyes only to then slowly close them and kiss Ruby with the same passion. Weiss then began to cry and Ruby was quick to comfort her. "What's wrong Weiss, if it was me I-." She was cut off by Weiss the moment she said that. "No, nothing's wrong, I'm just so happy." Weiss said as she held Ruby tightly in her arms. "Ruby?" Weiss said while wiping the tears from her eyes. "Yeah Weiss?" Ruby said as she wiped away the tears with her thumb. "Please, don't leave me." Weiss said as she put her hand on top of Ruby's hand. "Don't worry Weiss, I'll stay." Ruby said with certainty. Ruby then held Weiss in her loving embrace and kissed her once again as Ruby wrapped her and her now girlfriend in Ruby's blanket. The two fell asleep in each other's embrace all while the mistletoe that helped start the romance between the two, laid beside them as snow continued to fall outside.
