I was Having a bad day no one to fight I outmatched everyone (except my 3 children) even with a suit which takes away 50% of my strength today i was wearing my suit which takes away 99% of my full strength which makes me as strong as one of the big three I was near Westover Hall when I heard a grunt I hoped it was a monster and a demigod so I could fight the monster and save the demigod I smelt the air I could smell 4 children of the big three and a child of Athena I could also smell Artemis and a manticore so I went to check it out.
I saw the manticore holding hostage 4 demigods 2 boys and 2 girls i pulled out both of my 1 meter stygian sword and charged the manticore it looked at me in fear and said *Wha-what are you* I did not like being called what, then I got mad before I swung my sword I saw silver arrows raining on the manticore, I saw them and was mildly annoyed I stepped back and let the hunters do their thing he screamed "This is not fair! Direct interference! It is against the Ancient Laws." he started to throw his poisoned spikes but the hunters shot them just as quickly he eventually stopped from exhaustion one of the older girls stepped forward and while keeping her eyes on the manticore she asked "permission to kill my lady," he looked at them in fear and growled if I can't have the demigods alive then no one can he tried to kill them but the hunters started shooting their arrows at him he growled the grabbed one of the girls and leaped off the side and disappeared I was stunned at what happened.
Percy Pov
"Annabeth!" I yelled. "I'm sorry, Percy Jackson, but your friend is beyond help," the stranger said I struggled to get to my feet, but he held me down. "You are in no condition to be hurling yourself off cliffs," he said, "Let me go!" I demanded. "Who do you think you are?" looked surprised "who are you" she demanded he laughed I am but a myth to you Artemis Goddess of the moon, archery, hunting, independence and virginity "ok she is Artemis," I thought to myself
she looked at him "impressive you know who I am," she said, "not many can recognise me on sight, especially a male" he growled at her do not insult males! just because millennia ago they were cruel vile animals Artemis looked surprised then her expression turned to rage "no one Growls at me and lives" she growled and shot her arrows faster than what I could see I looked at him expected him to have a bunch of arrows in him but he somehow caught all of them with one hand.
