A/N: A quick one-shot when Megan started to live with them. She has a whole bunch of brothers, so she doesn't mind. Well, unless Tala catches her in her bra again. But yeah, spiders … creepy buggers.

Spiders

Well, when you put it mildly, Megan wasn't fond of creepy crawlies that had six eyes and eight legs. You can imagine the reaction when she had decided to take a shower, pulled her shirt off, and discovered the thing sitting in the middle of the bathroom floor as if it owned the place in all of its black glory. Instead of killing it and moving on with life - that was too simple - she screamed something near to bloody murder. Of course, she lived with the nearly reformed Demolition Boys - this was going to work out well. The door slammed open, the lock was broken, as Tala and Bryan looked around the room. The 15 years old girl clung to Tala as she tried to get away from the monster as much as possible.

"Where's the killer?" asked Bryan frantically as he looked around the room.

"It's the huge thing in the middle of the floor," whimpered the girl. "Get rid of it."

Lavender eyes blinked as the light purple haired boy noticed the small spider on the floor. It moved slightly which caused Megan to scream quietly and continue to cling to Tala. Bryan lifted a boot before squishing it with the heel. He turned to the two of them with a smirk, "Its dead, Megan. Your big monster has its guts all over the floor."

"C-Clean it up," she stuttered. "I don't want any part of that thing near me."

"It's just a spider, Megan," Tala said as he tried to pry himself away from her. "Let …" He noticed she was in her bra and jeans before turning away. He turned a light red before the girl realized her like of shirt. Bryan snickered, to himself, as he cleaned spider guts from the bathroom floor. The two of them interacting amused him greatly; they always were in some awkward situation.

"You freaked over a spider, Megan," laughed Bryan. "You dealt with us when we were cold and emotionless, but a spider scared you more than we did. I don't know whether to be insulted or not."

"Shut up, Bryan," she muttered. "Make sure there are no other spiders especially in the shower, please."

The Falborg user shrugged as he checked the shower. No spiders were showing their scary faces there, so Megan could get a safe shower. He gave her a thumbs up before dragging his captain out of the bathroom. Honestly, Tala was staring at everything but the girl that was standing beside him. He watched Megan close the door and start the shower before turning to Tala.

"God, the two of you need to get over your problems and get back together. I can't stand all the awkward situations."

Tala glared at his best friend. Bryan, not phased in the least by Tala's glares, stuck his tongue out before going back into the room to watch TV. The Wolborg user sighed as he walked to his bedroom. Boy, he didn't expect Pet to freak over a tiny spider. She's been on a tougher front than that when - he shook his head. It was silly that was afraid of spiders; one of her many quirks.
