Sorry for OOCness...
This is supposed to be set after Kluke's parents die...
Kluke sighed, tears welling up in her eyes. Why did her parents have to die? Why did they have to leave her alone? Tears poured down her cheeks, and she buried her face into her arms.
"Kluke..." Shu whispered, placing his hands on her shoulder. She flinched, hating that her friend had to see her like this. "You're not alone, Kluke." He added, sitting down beside her. "You'll always have me... And Jiro."
Kluke shook her head, refusing to believe anything he said. The pain inside her chest was aching, and she didn't want it to multiply. "I know how it feels Kluke. My parents died too, remember?" She still didn't speak, but just continued to silently cry as Shu tried his best to comfort her. He sighed, knowing that she wouldn't stop. Carefully, he moved her arms and touched her chin, moving her head up to face him.
"It may seem rough now, but things will get better... I promise you." He whispered, gently wiping her tears. She sniffed, nodding her head. The rapid tears still didn't slow though. Shu wrapped his arms around Kluke, silently embracing her. Her cheeks flushed bright red as she stiffened, but tried to ignore her reactions. He was just her friend, it wasn't like they she had feelings for him, and vice versa. Nevertheless, it did feel good to be in his arms... safe. She leaned against him, closing her eyes and relaxing.
"I will always be here when you need me." Shu said softly, tensing slightly as he felt Kluke hug him back. The tears falling from Kluke's eyes faltered until they eventually stopped.
"Thank you, Shu." Kluke whispered hoarsely, wishing she could stay safely in his arms forever. Regardless, she sat up straight again, and wiped her face. He nodded, smiling slightly. Something in his smile reassured Kluke, and made her feel happy.
