It was a long day working at Phoenix Drop for Aphmau. She had just finished up helping Kiki with the animals. Maybe I'll go on a small walk around the village, Aphmau thought, starting to stroll around. She decided to head over to the Irene statue. Aphmau sat down near the marble statue. It was surrounded by pretty pink blossom trees, showering their petals. Aphmau turned around. Instead of a deep blue sky, she saw a orange-yellow glow. It was a sunset. She could just about make out the sun in the distance. Suddenly, Aphmau felt tired. She felt too tired to go back to her home, so she just slept right then and there, next to the peaceful Irene.
When she woke up, she realised she had slept in again!
"Ohmygosh, I NEED to wake up!" Said Aphmau, rushing around to get ready. To her suprise, Garroth was waiting for her. He was in a black suit with a light blue tie. "Good moring Lady Aphmau"
"Morning! Um, Garroth, why are you wearing a suit?" Aphmau asked.
"Didn't you remember? Well, it's the day we met. When you came up to Phoenix Drop and asked me if you needed help"
"Oh Yes! How could I forget! Well I'd better get ready"
"you don't have to"
Aphmau blushed. She knew Garroth had some sort of feelings for her, but she didn't know if she had the same. But deep inside her heart, she knew she loved Garroth.
"A-Aphmau, can I ask you a question..."
"Of course Garroth"
"Well... Will you go on a small picnic with me to celebrate?"
"yes!"
