This actually isn't what I set out to write when I started this. It was going to be a Ron/Hermione fluffy Hurt/Comfort, but it got away from me and this came out and...I kind of like it a lot. I don't normally write humor, so I hope other people appreciate it too. Enjoy:)

Disclaimer: Harry Potter, thankfully, does not belong to me because I am nowhere near as talented as JK Rowling.

I sat at the kitchen table in The Burrow, waiting for Ron to wake up. He and Harry had, what I can only assume was a heavy conversation late into the night. The reason I know this is because I woke up in the middle of the night and when I went downstairs to get a glass of water, the two aforementioned were sitting on the couch speaking in hushed tones and Ron didn't even greet me when he noticed I came downstairs. We made momentary eye contact and all I could see was weariness.

I heard bounding footsteps on the stairs and I knew it must be Ginny who had either a grand scheme or some sort of news, "Hermione!"

"Good morning, Ginny," I said, not looking up from my hard stare at my long-gone-cold cup of tea.

She groaned, "Hermione, I need you, right now."

I looked up and noticed she had a giddy grin. "What's going on?"

She finished the way to me and grabbed my hand, dragging me towards the stairs, "Come on, hurry up!"

We ran all the way up the stairs to Ron's room and I had to bite my tongue to suppress the giggle threatening to come out. Both boys were sprawled out on the bed about a foot apart from each other, except Ron's arm was planted firmly on Harry's face. Ginny was holding Ron's camera and whispered, "Use your hair to tickle Harry and see if he slaps Ron's hand."

"I'm not doing that; they look so peaceful…kind of…"

"Oh, come on, Hermione; have a little fun! Plus, I really want to cheer up George."

I looked back at the sleeping boys, then back and Ginny, "Oh, alright. Get the camera ready." I walked over to Harry and looked at Ginny waiting for the go. She gave me a thumbs up and I gently dragged a bit of my hair across Harry's nose and Ron's hand. First, Ron's fingers fidgeted and then, as Ginny predicted, Harry's hand hit Ron's. Ron's eyes shot open and he looked over at Harry, "Agh! Why are we holding hands?" He pulled his hand away so quickly that you would have thought Harry was on fire.

Ginny burst out laughing, but only after taking another photo.

Harry woke up to the sound of Ginny laughing and groaned, "Why are you in our room, Hermione?"

"This was Ginny's idea…" I defended.

Ginny walked over to the bed and sat between Harry and Ron, "I took some pictures for George." She showed them the pictures of Harry hitting Ron's hand and of Ron pulling away his hand.

"Warn a fellow next time, won't ya, Gin?" Ron complained.

"That would ruin it."

Ron smiled at me and I walked over to sit beside him. He placed a chaste kiss on my forehead and wrapped his arm around my waist, "Well, I suppose I'll forgive you, only because the second thing I saw this morning was Hermione."

"Ew, get a room!"

"I did, you're in it," he shot back.

I smiled as Ron and Ginny continued to bicker. Life has definitely been hectic, but it's mornings like this one that remind me that everything is going to be okay, eventually.

So there's that, review maybe? :) ~Lyddie
