Don't we all just love the names JKR gives to all of her characters! It's a big part of the charm for me. So one night, late, my dear friend Shadowfoot and I got to giggling over some of the names in our favorite fandom.
Below, you will find a few of our word plays. I plan on posting them all, over time. It's something that will probably continue to grow as we think of new names and new ways to twist them.

Ginny tripped over the corner of the rug, hitting her knee on the coffee table. "Ouch!" she exclaimed, "I her-mio-ne."
Sirius looked at Harry seriously.
Ron, ron, ron, just as fast as you can! You can't catch me, I'm the ginger-haired man!
Ginny jumped from the oversized chair and met Lavender face to face, "Don't you snape your fingers at me!" she growled.
Harry sat by the lake with a pansy in his hands pulling the patils off one by one, "He loves me; he loves me not. He loves me; he loves me not."
"I don't think you want to know about me and Malfoy, Ron." Harry smirked, "nevilletheless, I'll tell you if you really wanna know... I'll tell you."
Harry looked sadly at the potion in his and Ron's cauldron. "Really Ron, why do you always have to seamus with your shoddy lab work?"
"I'm sirius!"
Harry looked at his godfather, confused. "Aren't you always?"
Ron looked over at Hermione cautiously. "The situation's getting a little harry, don't you think?"
Snape picked up the box of Honeyduke's special white chocolate. Creevey should have known better to bring sweets to Potions. He popped a bite in his mouth; the smooth, creamy, lucius flavor flooded his mouth and he moaned in sinful delight.
