Takes place after movie Lightning Thief.

Annabeth POV.

I had just gotten back from the camp. I had been working with sword fighting a majority of the evening. I was sweaty and gross and decided to get in the shower. •Showering•

I get out of the shower and get dressed in gray shorts and a pink sports bra. A friend from the Aphrodite cabin, Gracie, sat on my bed looking threw a magazine. I hadn't even taken the towel off my head when someone busted on my door.

"Annabeth!" I could tell it was Grover.

"What?!" I ask as he barges in.

"It's Percy!" He says. My mood changes in a second. We starting dating a few months ago. I loved him.

"What about him?"

"He came in contact with something and can't breath. No one knows what to do. But he asked for you." He has catching his own breath. I grab a random shirt from my closet and run on.

I hear Gracie behind me screaming about my curly frizzy hair but I don't care.

"Annabeth! Wait!" She says scrambling out. I just ran behind Grover. We ran into the forest. By the lake that we played capture the flag at. I see Chiron kneeling in front of Percy. His hands are on Percy's cheeks.

"Percy!" I scream. I run to his side. I start crying.

"Annabeth!" He gasps weakly. I grap his hand in both of mine.

"Annabeth, I don't know what to do. He came across something he was allergic to. I've done all I can." Chiron admits. It dawned on me. Eucalyptus helps you breath. I don't know if it will work or not.

"I think I know what to do. I'll be right back." I say. I had seen it here before.I wipe my tears and I run frantically around. I finally see the green leaves. I grab a bunch and run back to Percy. His lips are turning blue. I take a leaf and put it in his mouth and then put the rest by his nose. I grab his right hand in both of mine again

"Come on baby don't leave me now. " This has to work. He can't leave. He is my life. If he's gone, I am too. He stays silent for a whole. Just laying there. I lay my head on his chest, crying. I suddenly feel a rise and a fall. Then another.

"Annabeth. " he says with a sigh. I pick my head up and wipe my eyes. He lifts his left hand and pushes my frizzy curls away from my face.

"Hi baby. " I say with a slight sob.

"Why are you crying my angle?" His voice is so hoarse and faint.

"I thought I was gonna lose you. " I say. Wiping away the tears.

"But I'm ok. "

"I know. Now they're happy tears." I tell him. I caress the hair out of his face.

"Wise Girl?" He asks.

"What?"

"I've got a question. "

"Ok. " I reply.

"Why is there a leaf in my mouth?" He asks.

I laugh and just shake my head at him.

"Come on. " I say. I stand and take his hand to help him up. Chiron helps to as he rises.

"Annabeth, I assume you will see to it that he makes it to his room ok. " he says.

"Yes sir. " I say. I place my hand around his waist to help him. I lead him back to his cabin. As we arrive I open the door. We walk in together and go to his bed. I help him lay down slowly. As I am pulling the cover around him he puts his hand on my wrist.

"No. " he says lightly. I raise my eyebrows.

"Stay. "

I smile timidly. I nod and pull the cover back and settle in next to him. He turns to his right side and pulls me into him. He wraps both his arms around me and I nuzzle into his chest. He kisses the side of my head.

"I love you so much. You saved my life Wise Girl. "

"I love you too Seaweed Brain. Anytime. " I look up at him and smile. He weakly smiles back and kisses my lips. I then cuddle back into his warm chest and fall asleep.
