Sighing loudly Xanxus stared at the his office's ceiling wondering how it was exactly that he got in this position. Not that he minded having Squalo and Bel curled up together in front of his fire considering it was the middle of winter and Bel got sick very easily in winter when his body tempureture dropped. Though how did they get him of off his throne to in front of the fire and release Bester without waking him up?
'Irritating but I better move them to the bedroom or they'll freeze when the fire goes out.' Xanxus sighed again slightly annoyed at his lovers actions but not so annoyed that he'd leave them to freeze.
Shifting he slowly untangling himself from their little pile he crouched down beside them and untangled Squalo carrying him to the bedroom attached to his office he nudged the door open. Padding quietly he pulled back the blankets on the bed and placed Squalo down tucking him in before returning to his office for Belphegor.
Though when he returned he didn't expect an overly possessive Bester to start growling loudly at him curled up around Bel like he was Bester's cub or something. Cautiously stepping forward Xanxus begrudgingly bared his neck in a act of submission to show his box animal he meant no harm. Inching forward slightly Xanxus refrained from stiffening when Bester made a move to tear his jugular vein out because that would make Bester think he was an enemy in the state he's in.
Sitting down on the floor a meter away from the liger and somehow asleep prince he carefully reached out to grab Bel being very pleased when Bester let him go. Obviously Bester had realised who he was but as he started walking to the room with Bel in his arms he noticed that Bester was following them and shrugged.
'Bester if you want to sleep on the bed go put out that fire first.' Xanxus order him quietly while entering the bedroom. Raising an eyebrow he'd sighed one again upon seeing that Squalo had cocooned himself with the blankets. Placing Bel on the bed he unraveled Squalo and spread the blanket over the both of them before walking away to go to the linen closet for more blankets, bigger blankets.
When he got back he nearly dropped the blankets but just growled quietly when he saw Bester curled up around both of his lovers. Walking over it took him almost ten minutes to get Bester out of the way so he could un cocoon his lovers from the blankets.
Throwing the blankets over them he slipped in and soon found himself sandwiched between them. Xanxus' lips twitched up in to a slight smile at his lovers actions, the smile grew when they woke sleepily to thank him and give him a kiss each before going back to sleep. Kissing both of them on their foreheads he ignored it when Bester shifted to curl up around all of them as much as possible considering that Bester did see them as his cubs since he couldn't have his own being a liger. Xanxus fell asleep shortly after and Bester did nothing to stop it purring comfortingly to help him along.
