When She Is Gone

Ryan slammed the door. He fell on his bed. He cried into his pillow. Funerals were horrible. He knew they were. Then why had he gone?

"Because Marissa would have wanted you there." He thought.

She was gone.

Why did she have to leave?

He had asked himself that so many times.

However, he knew that she would always be there. He sighed and got up. He was hungry. He hadn't eaten at all last night and this morning. But he didn't feel like eating. He wished he could get over her. Just be free and fly. But he didn't want to and couldn't forget her. But he wanted to—or maybe he didn't. he wasn't so sure at the moment. He turned on the radio. A song was playing. He guessed it was the beatles because he had heard it before.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free.

Blackbird fly Blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.

Blackbird fly Blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
You were only waiting for this moment to arise.

This song made him cry. Because he wasn't ready to fly. And he definatley wasn't ready to be free.

Should I continue? Did you like it? I promise there's more to the story...please review! Sorry its so short, the next chapter will be SO much better!
