As a pair of hands went over her eyes Quinn started to laugh and her body was covered in goose bumps right after the boy whispered "Happy Birthday" in her ear.
"Guess who it is." He demanded, still in a mischievous whisper.
"Oh, I don't know…" the girl began, deciding to play along.
"Maybe this will help you." He said, smirking as he placed a kiss on her cheek, making his way to her lips.
As they pulled away, he sat down on the girls couch and put his backpack on the ground. When he started to look through it, the girl with curly hair sat down beside him. He pulled out a card and a big box.
"Happy Birthday." He repeated giving the girl the present.
"Oh, Logan, you shouldn't have." She said and then started opening the card.
When she finished reading and then put down the sweet, emotional Hallmark card her boyfriend handed her the large box.
She was about to open it when her two roommates came into their room, their first time seeing her that morning.
"Happy Birthday!" They both exclaimed while running to hug her.
"Lets go get some breakfast, everyone's waiting, we made you your favorite breakfast." Lola squealed. Quinn thought she was acting just like Nicole.
As they approached the breakfast table sat Michael, Chase, Lisa, Vince and James. Only Michael getting up to greet Quinn with a birthday hug.
"This is so sad," Michael started. "You know you're getting old when one of your best friends is eighteen years old."
Quinn laughed slightly and they started eating. She felt someone tapping her thigh and she turned to see Logan looking at her and he whispered, "We have to go back to your dorm room, you never opened your present."
"Why don't we all go back to our room?" Chase suggested as everyone except Logan agreed.
Everyone was seated around the boys' dorm and Chase came back with boxes and set them on the floor in front of Quinn.
Quinn and Logan brought her gifts back to her dorm. She put away the clothes she received from Zoey and Lola, and other science things she received.
"Finally." Logan said as he picked up the gift and handed it off to Quinn.
She smiled and opened it to find a clothes box in there. She looked puzzled, but opened the clothes box and in the clothes box there was a little jewelry box taped onto the bottom. She opened the little box and found a ring. It was a beautiful gold band with garnet gems.
"Do you like it?" Logan asked.
"I love it!" Quinn replied.
"Good, but that's not the best part of your gift."
"Logan, I couldn't possibly accept anything else." Quinn started.
"Nonsense." Logan said as he pulled another box out of his backpack.
Quinn opened it to find a plane ticket, a concert ticket and an event ticket.
"What's this?" Quinn asked.
"Lola was saying how the Jonas Brothers were playing in Hawaii and how she would love to go to Hawaii and you agreed. While I was looking into it I found out that there was a science convention thingy. I asked your Mom about it and she went on about how cool it was and everything and there you go. I also brought everything for Lola and Zoey so you could have some company."
Quinn smiled and said, "You are the best boyfriend ever."
As she pulled away from their hug they shared Quinn said, "I love you."
Logan kissed her and replied, "I love you too."
