Summary: Jasper meets his maker.
There was fire in his veins, boiling his blood, scalding his skin. Killing him slowly from the inside out.
Ambush. How stupid he was! There must have been some indication of them, some warning. They had come out of nowhere, knocking him from his horse, pinning him with remarkable ease.
It was torture like he had never known. Burning, searing, driving him mad with its persistence. He withered under their hands, screamed his fury. Labored breaths. A pain in his chest. His heart was going to explode!
A demon grinned down at him. Red eyes.
He hoped he died soon.
