Chapter 1: Nessie tears

Today was Renesmee's big day, her 2nd birthday. A year ago Edward and I decided that we would celebrate Nessie's birthday for seven years or until she

matured. The day started off so smoothly just until Edward told me, that he and his family were going to help the Volturi with some sort of problem that he would not tell me, just as he said this I was covered with a cloud of darkness, its Nessie's big day.

However, the only ones that were going there, was Jacob and I if he would show up, but that is another story.

I thought I might as well bake something for her otherwise she will be even more depressed after I tell her. Therefore, I bake piñata cookies and a cake and took

them into Nessie's bedroom, she was already awake. "Hey honey, Happy Birthday!" I told her.

"Where is everyone" she asked." um... they're ... they um" I sighed " They are gone Nessie they will not be here because of a problem with the Volturi" I told her sadly." even Jacob is gone?" "Yes well he might come then again I don't know I am sorry sweetie."

Nessie started crying "it's okay honey,' then she starts bawling leaving me not knowing what in the world I should do. I got up and left her alone and I sat down on the couch. The next thing I heard was laughter and a smell: wet dog, Jake did show up. Huh, I did not expect that.

Then Jake came out with Nessie on his back. I hate that imprinting stuff she loves him even more than she does me. "We're going to the park bells; you want to

come "he said with a smile as bright as the sun. "Sure, whatever" I said.

AT THE PARK:

"What do you want to do first Nessie? "said Jacob" I wanna go on the slide with mommy" she replied. "uh... Nessie I think I am good" I said nervously,"please it's my birthday" she said with a pout and puppy eyes that I could not resist.

Jacob laughed, "Ha are you scared to go on a slide bells" "you go on the slide first I'll come later" "you promised?" she asked, "yes, I promised," I said hoping she would forget.

While she was running to the slide Jake asked" Why aren't the other bloodsuckers here I bet Blondie and Alice would have thrown the biggest birthday bash in all of Washington."

"I don't know Edward said they would be gone a few weeks to help the Volturi" I said, "You sure they aren't running away?" He said jokingly.

Then Jacob walked away then I realised Edward said he would call and he hasn't I called him it said the line was disconnected maybe they didn't have cell service there.

Yeah that must be it I thought as soon as we got home. I emailed Alice and it came back to me, so I sat on the bed and on the night table was an envelope from Edward uh oh.
