In the still of the night, she lays beside me.
Her hand wrapped around mine in a tender embrace.
I smile as I look at the gift bestowed upon me.
So sweet, so beautiful, I don't know what I did to deserve her.
You can keep your riches for they mean nothing to me.
Just to look into her eyes is all I ever need to be happy.
Deeper than the oceans, and higher than the mountains, her love is endless.
It assures me that there's nothing to fear.
As long as our spirits our together, we can do anything.
There are many joyous things in the world, I agree.
But to hear her heartbeat next to mine,
Is all I ever need.
