Massie Block, supermodel, actress, and face of Harrington Industries, was involved in a fatal accident the morning of Tuesday, March 19th, earlier this week. Although her agent Kelly Banks is claiming to have no comment as to how or why this accident happened, we've got the exclusive details—
Massie Block was attending the premiere of her latest movie, Tears Forgotten, with co-star and boyfriend, Joshua Hotz when it happened. The pair was absolutely shining their matching Versace clothing on the red carpet, and they entered the theatre without any problems. While the movie, playing for the first time, was about halfway through, everything flickered off without warning.
An anonymous watcher who was also in the theatre at that time says, "It was like something in a scary movie. Suddenly everything was pitch-dark and no one could see anything. There wasn't any freaking out, but it lasted for about ten minutes when there was a sudden scream and the breaking of glass. By then, everyone was so terrified they couldn't even move."
Another states, "Massie Block and Joshua Hotz were sitting two rows ahead of me. Right before the lights shut off, they were perfectly normal—sitting together with him eating some popcorn and her laughing at all the right parts. But when the lights finally came back on, neither of them were there anymore. They were both gone."
Massie Block was found quickly thereafter in the aisle of the theatre, after apparently having a sharp blow to the head. She was immediately admitted to the nearest hospital, where after two days of no report, doctors said that "Massie Block will be fine, physically, after a couple days of rest, but we are not sure as to how her brain is dealing with the hit. Because we have no actual information on what happened to her, we cannot be sure which part of her head is hurt and what hit it. It seems as if she may have a mild case of amnesia, not remembering anything about the accident when being interviewed, but still being able to create new memories and remember anything up to a week before the premiere."
Harrington Industries president and founder, Kyle Harrington, has no comment on the incident other than, "It was a freak accident that we cannot hold any one person responsible for. It is believed that Massie Block hit her head on something because she fell or tripped, and we at Harrington Industries are not going to be holding out lawsuits to the theatre."
Tears Forgotten, nevertheless, rolled in millions of dollars from the premiere and following viewings after. Some might say that the accident, which generated masses of publicity in both magazines and television, had something to do with the viewer ratings. Neither Massie Block nor Joshua Hotz have been seen outside of the John Clement Hospital. When will Hollywood's current golden couple show their faces to the world once again?
