Okay guys, this is a one-shot about in clockwork prince when Will talks about swimming naked in the thames. Well, in this story thats exactly what he does.
Will Herondale Walked through the london streets, the air was very humid, and already he could feel sweat on the back of his neck. He adjusted his coat, turning the wool color up. He walked past the thames, and paused for a minute to look at it.
Maybe he could jump in for a little bit…Bloody hell! What was he thinking?
But it was so hot today…Oh, the hell with it. He already had a glamour on. What harm could it be? He walked to the edge of the river, stripping of everything, and jumped in, the cold water a huge relief against the humid morning london weather. He heard footsteps, and poked his head out of the water enough to see who it was. It was Jem. He looked distracted, his hold on his jade cane strong. He looked over when will popped his head out of the water. "WILL?" He said, disbelief plain in his voice. Will smiled, not knowing what else to do. He hadn't excepted anyone to see him, especially Jem.
"Hello, Jem." He said with a smile at his parabatti.
"Will, what on earth are you doing?"
"I think its pretty obvious."
"It quite is." Then he saw Will's clothes sitting on the edge of the river.
"By The Angel, please tell me those aren't yours."
"Well, I can not do that."
"Why not?" Jem said, but his tone of voice told Will that he already knew.
"Because theyaremine."
"Well, please put them on."
"And why would I do that?"
"Because you have an assignment. Charlotte wants you to investigate the Black house."
Will sighed. He swam to the edge of the lake, where his clothes were.
He raised his eyebrows at Jem, who turned away. Will reluctantly put his clothes back on. He strode up beside Jem, and they started walking toward the institute.
"What am I going to do with you?" He heard Jem say under his breath, shaking his head.
Will shrugged.
"You frighten me sometimes."
"How so?"
"You can be really unintelligent."
"Why yes, I can."
"Now, lets go kick some Demon-"
"Please do not finish that sentence."
"Good Choice." Will replied with a grin.
