Hot Coffee

Fred holds my leash on what I do,

But still wants me to see things through.

'Proudly' serving OPA,

It isn't much but gets us pay.

Amos builds and Alex flies,

Through the solar wind we glide.

But if not for one thing I'd go mad,

A thing for which I am most glad.

Coffee gets me through the day,

Caffeine's on which I spend my pay.

A cup for each and every hour,

Sometimes sweet, but never sour.

Long blacks, flat whites and many more,

To tastebuds, never once a bore.

We keep each other company,

This magic liquid called coffee.

Every day a device breaks,

But the coffee maker stays in place.

My bedrock in zero gravity,

The one thing that can make me happy.

Oh, I suppose there is Naomi too,

So many things that she can do.

But for now I need another fix,

Because with coffee, it all just clicks.
