2 years later.
Lets get you updated on what's been happening since that one bloody night on Halloween..
Cops found out about the cop car on it's way to Alberta with Tracker in it, and police had been looking for him everywhere. Maya had nightmares of him coming back, and Emma barely slept.
Maya to this day doesn't know she's adopted. Her 'sister' Katie, had been murdered, but Maya's adopted parents loved Maya and chose for her to stay and not to tell her about Trackers real identity of being her father. Maya's mother though, had turned a little cold towards her. She figured it was the tragic reaction of losing her first born daughter. Maya doesn't realize her mother, though she tried not to, blamed Maya for her daughters death.
Emma was now in her first year of college. It took her a year and another Halloween night to trust the fact that Tracker wasn't coming back. As for her and Jay,they were still together. Jay made sure every Halloween he would never leave her side. Emma was now known around town as the 'Babysitter'. The girl who was stalked and friends murdered by the Sheep Masked Killer.
As for Zig? He and his parents had moved away. They thought it was too much to stick around, that the town would be a horrible memory for what they had gone through. Maya was devastated to see him go and she hadn't seen the boy who gave her that first kiss years ago since.
Maya was now 15. Zig would of just turned 16. She was in her sophomore year and she had really grown up. Her hair was longer, and she didn't wear glasses anymore and the boys' heads turned when she walked by. She was dating someone though. She was with Miles now, but it never seemed very real to her. Why was that? She kept to herself mostly, coming up as mysterious now instead of the bubbly girl she use to be.
Meanwhile with Emma, she was in her first year of college and dorm mates with Manny. Sean had been okay, and him and Manny had almost instantly hooked up when he got better. The two had been dating ever since. Which was good, Sean was good for Manny and vise versa. He practically lived in their little apartment with them.
Sean was a mechanic now as was Jay. They worked at Tony's auto repair shop and everybody was just trying to move on with their hopefully bright futures...

"I know you hate Halloween," groaned Tori to Maya, "But next week, I'm having the biggest party at my house okay? And I need help throwing it."
Maya smiled over to Tori from her locker and shrugged, "I've never been the party throwing type either so I just don't see how I could help."
Tori tossed her head back, "Please! Don't make me beg!"
Maya giggled and Miles came up from behind, kissing the side of her head. "Movies tonight still?"
Maya looked over her shoulder a little shocked and tried to bare a smile. "Yea." she forced out. God, he knew she hated when he crept up behind her like that.
He pecked her on the lips and walked off.
The school bell rang and Maya grabbed her books as Tori eyed her and looked back to Miles, "Can you be any colder?
Maya sent her a glare, "What do you mean, Tori?"
Tori put her hands on her hips and shrugged. She then sighed and insisted, "Where's the passion? You clearly just aren't that into him. You should give him that book! I'm just Not That Into You."
"He's just not that into you." Maya corrected with a dull tone.
"Whatever, I'm late. Meet you at lunch!" she left with that.
Maya stood there, frowning. She knew deep down she wasn't like, in love with Miles or anything. But he was as nice as a guy got here in Degrassi. And he cared about her. He didn't look at her like a freak like most people did knowing she was one of Trackers 'The Babysitter killer' victims. Around Halloween, Degrassi kids stared at her like she was contagious of something.
Like now. She noticed some people staring and she turned away from them. "It is a week from Halloween." she muttered.
She closed her locker and clung a book to her chest, about to walk around another student to get to class when they bumped shoulders hard and her book fell.
"OH, sorry." She mumbled and went to pick it up to notice the guy bend down and do so for her. She swallowed, noticing his biceps and buff figure as he reached for the book. He then stood up with a side smirk and handed it over to her.
"No problem, Maya." he said as she got lost gaping at him.
Maya knew that smirk, those eyes. Her heart jumped and her mouth hung a bit before saying slowly, "Zig?"
He wore dark jeans, a white V neck shirt that the sleeves wrapped around his arms nicely with (She was trying not to notice but how couldn't you?), and a torn up long jean vest over his shoulders. His dark hair didn't brush against his forehead anymore the way it use to as a kid. It was gelled up nicely and stylish.
Too be honest, he looked like a bit of a bad boy now. Funny from a guy she last remembered wearing a school jersey coat. My, had things changed. She was able to keep her 'sanity' or virtue though. She wasn't going to let some killer ruin her life when he hadn't killed her.
Anyways! Zig was.. Wow... he was...different.
It was then that Maya noticed it wasn't the students staring at her, they were staring at Zig. She didn't blame them.
"I'm back." he told her, his voice deep and so smooth. Shivers went up her spine and she smiled softly back at him.

"Emma, what about this?" Manny asked her, standing in a shop.
Emma turned, and eyed Manny's pick of a costume. A big pumpkin. She rolled her pretty eyes.
Emma's hair was longer, a bit darker blonde with highlights all through. She was a bit more toned up, not a inch of fat on her body. She did a LOT of yoga. It really helped with stress actually.
"Fine I guess." she shrugged.
"A pumpkin costume is fine?" Manny teased, "Are you trying to wreck my first college Halloween experience?"
"I thought all Halloween experiences would of been easily ruined after the one two years ago." Emma muttered half jokingly but looked serious. She went back to looking for her own costume as Manny's shoulders fell and she pouted at Emma.
Emma was almost famously known now, with people thinking Tracker was after her. Some chick from high school, Ellie Nash, even got off on writing a book about it and it actually got published. Who knew where that girl ended up after highschool. Emma hoped it was FAR from here.
The girls were now 18. Manny was even more gorgeous than before too, her hair had bangs cut across her forehead now, and she just looked and acted more mature than when in highschool. Sean did a number on her. She was a good girl friend too.
"Em." Manny said, her cute raspy voice going soft and looking around the store to see nobody looking, "You have to do this. We need to have fun and Halloween use to be our favorite.." she drifted off, shutting her eyes. She just WISHED things could go back to normal.
Why couldn't they?
She hated Andrew/Tracker for ruining such a playful night and turning it into a hellish reality.
Emma frowned at Manny's moment of trying to avoid saying his name.
"I'll get a costume, don't worry." Emma declared, grabbing the costume and putting it around her arm. She didn't want to hide inside this Halloween either. She knew one of Jay's friends was holding a huge party so why not just go to that? No idiot killer would try something around 100 people.
Ema needed to prove to herself Halloween could be normal and fun again. I mean... last year was alright, sure she hid in her room and Jay had to answer the door to give out candy while holding a bat behind his back (For her reassurance) but other than that it was scare free!
She sighed, nodding at Manny's smile and smiled back .Time to put it in the past.
"Emma?" she heard and turned.
Manny even blinked and her eyes widened to the girl who had grown up and was walking in here to look for a costume too. "Maya!"
"Maya," Emma smiled, reaching out and they shared a hug.
Emma had barely saw her since moving to college, and lets just say Maya's mom didn't like seeing Emma anymore after everything that had happened. Their parents didn't even talk to another anymore. Which was wierd, cause Maya's mother knew the truth about Tracker. Why blame her?
"You're..Halloween shopping." Emma said, quite amazed and smiled softly.
"I know," Maya cringed a bit with a soft laugh, "I'm seeing it through, making it 'fun' " whatever that means.
Tori came over holding a leather kitty outfit, "I am SO digging this costume." she showed Maya and then noticed the other two girls.
"Sweetie." giggled Manny, remembering when she wore that two years ago, "It attracts nothing but bad luck, creeps and perverts."
Tori wrinkled her nose, and decided to throw it back on the rack. Maya rolled her eyes smiling and then raised her costume up to Emma, "I'm going as Alice in wonderland."
"No!" Tori almost shrieked in horror.
Both Emma and Maya jumped, looking at her as she gave Maya a look like she was crazy.
Tori grabbed the costume out of Maya's hands, "You know who is back in town and he stared at you all day long, Maya! He's probably going to come to my party.." she whispered under her breath, "You need to wear something hot."
Maya blushed and glanced at Emma who gave a look of confusion and she said a little quietly, "Zig is back." Her heart raced even as she mentioned just his name.
Oh boy. Miles was not going to like this.
"Zig?" Emma looked blown away and couldn't believe it. She then smirked at Maya, seeing a dazed familiar look in the young girls' eyes.
Tori spoke again, "They were so sneaking glances at another all day. He's so hot, he definitely works out too. He's all mysterious too which goes very well with Maya's tortured soul act." "
Maya sighed and begged her, "Stop! We are just.." she drifted off, her heart pounding. What were they?
"Friends?" asked Manny with a smirk. "History like yours and his?" Doubt it.
"I have a boyfriend." Maya said, swallowing hard.
Emma just shrugged and changed the subject, knowing it was bugging Maya. "I think I'm going to go as a nun." she lifted a sexy short black nun costume up.
Tori wrinkled her nose as she glanced at the costume in Manny's hands and whispered to her, "You're not really going to go as a pumpkin, are you?"
Manny scowled at the girl, "It was just a joke."
The girls laughed until something interrupted them. "Maya!" they heard at the front of the store, turning to her mother who held her car keys, probably gave the girls a ride since they were only 15.
Emma bit her lip, seeing the double take Maya's mom did when she saw Emma and the woman got tense. Emma frowned, remembering when she use to love her when she babysat Maya when younger. Now she avoided her at all cost.
"Um, well.." Maya said nervously, knowing her mother was coming off as rude, "Have a fun Halloween." she said to Emma.
Emma paused and watched her go, "Wait, Maya!"
The blonde turned, and went back to her as Emma grabbed a pen out of her purse and wrote on a piece of paper. "My number." she explained to Maya, handing it to her "Just...incase."
Maya smiled sadly, taking it. Emma was still jittery around Halloween too, huh? She didn't blame her. Tori and her left the store and Maya gave one last wave before leaving.
Manny sighed and looked to Emma, and the two shared a look before going to go buy their stuff.

Outside the mall, Jay wore his shades over his eyes. He was almost 20 now, looking more lean and definitely had come a long way since being Degrassi's old bad boy. He stood outside his car, the same old orange civic. Sean had a rough time getting into it for a while but they had really fixed it up since they both worked at the shop together.
It now had the best speakers any guy could hope for, nos in the engine, and such an incredible alarm that went off whenever someone even went near it.
His car blasted with music and he was outside of it, having a cigerette in the parking lot as the girls were shopping. He wore jeans and a dark red shirt with his famous backward black hat. He now had a short boxed beard, which looked pretty handsome on that face of his. His piercing grey blue eyes gazed around the parking lot.
It was a warm October day, and beautiful if you liked orange and red leaves falling around everywhere.
Jay had a black cloth in his back jean pocket from work and took it out when he saw a dirt mark on his car. Emma was taking a while so he decided to clean it. He flicked his cigarette and held the rag as he moved to the part of the car that had the dirt on it. He blew out the puff of smoke through his lips as he bent and cleaned the dirt off with his rag. It was on the end of his car, and as he reached around the bend, a figure popped out wearing a Frankenstein mask and scared him.
He stood up straight, and cursed, "Dammit Emma!" he yelled, throwing the rag away but snickered, shaking his head as she laughed, taking off the mask and Manny giggled wildly, walking up from behind her.
He roughly opened his car door, growling at both of them. He got inside and lit another cigarette after that. Knowing Emma didn't like it, he glanced at her as she squinted her eyes at him. Payback was good.
"You said you quit." she told him.
He looked up and smirked as the end of his cigarette burned. He inhaled and took it away from his lips as he noted honestly, "I did."
Every time come Halloween, he'd get so on the edge and just needed to smoke a few again. Bad habit. Good stress relief though. Emma leaned down though, taking it out of his mouth and threw it over her shoulder onto the pavement and it blew out.
His smirk turned to a grin as she changed the subject, "Will you wear it tonight?" she showed him the Frankenstein mask. This party they were going to said you needed to dress up. She knew Jay was 'too cool' to do that but it said on the flyer that they need to.
"That stupid ol thing?" Jay snickered and shook his head no while grabbing Emma's hips and pulled her down onto his lap from where he sat in his car.
"Stupid?" Manny teased, "Scared the hell out of you." she smirked. She leaned on the open car door as Emma giggled from on top of Jay and Jay narrowed his eyes bitterly at her before he snickered.
"It didn't scare me," he looked at Emma, "You didn't scare me."
She laughed again, still on his lap and ran her fingers down his cheek to that facial hair of his, "Yeah I did." she said matter of factly and his eyes burned into hers as he grinned slowly.
"Maybe." Jay leaned up, and Emma smiled more as his lips slowly reached hers, and kissed her slowly before deeply.
Manny rolled her eyes smiling. These two were STILL crazy about another to this day.
"Can we go to the beer store?" Manny asked, cutting off the kiss.
Jay nodded, letting Emma crawl off of him and over onto the passenger seat beside as Manny got into the back.
His car door shut, and he started the car which roared up. Jay drove out of the parking lot and they girls squealed as he sped it down the road and towards the beer store.
They didn't notice the dark stranger by the trees who was watching them...wearing a sheep mask.
Not only was Zig back.
So was he.
