Just a short something I wrote a long time ago (I was twelve, when I wrote this). Originally it was written for school but I found it tucked away in a box and though I would share it with you all. xxx

He spun round and began to run, his feet carrying hm as fast as they could. As he ran through the building - guards chasing after him - Alex ran towards the Cargo plane but waiting for him was the assassin, Yassen Gregorovic. Yassen's hair was blowing in the wind as he raised his hand. It was then Alex realised that the gun in Yassen's hand would stop him. End him forever, unless he had a plan to pass Yassen and smehow get on the plane. Suddenly, Yassen dropped to the ground, blood staining his blonde hair. Mr Grin stood, he grabbed Alex and dragged him towards Sayle Enterprises landing station where a helicopter was waiting to lift off. Mr Grin heaved Alex into the main section. The everything went dark.

When Alex woke up his emotions were all over the place. Where was he? Why was he there? What was he out to do? Similar questions clouded his mind as he felt his limbs aching.

A figure slowly walked through the door into the dim room. What Alex saw shocked him more than anything else ever had. The one and only, Ian Rider, walked through the door in a sharp black suit, the lack of light making him seem more like a bloodthirsty tiger closing in on it's prey. His eyes held the look of disappointment and small signs of mellow pain.

The lights switched on adn Alex's eyes suffered from the harsh white light that painfully gave him a terrible headache. "I though you could do it, Alex," his uncle's voice echoed in the bright, white room.

"I will uncle. I'll make you proud of me!"

"You can't Alex, its too late. The 'Stormbreakers' will be activated in less than two minutes."

"I can get to Lond-"

"No, Alex!" The anger in Ian Rider's voice was as clear as snow. "It's impossible. You are in Cornwall and there is no possible way for you to get to the Science Museum in time." he sighed. "Well, Alex, looks like this is the end of my-"

"No! I won't allow it! I was meant to stop this! Me! Not anyone else! You did th-" Alex was interrupted.

"I did nothing! It was your own fault, now we're both going to die."

"How?" Alex was shocked, angry and most of all confused.

"How? Well, there are two very angry guards outside with a bullet for the two of us." just as the Senior Rider had finished speaking the two guards entered the plain room. One with a gun, the other with a roll of bin bags.

The one with the gun lifted his hand, put his finger on the trigger and pulled. Ian Rider's life was over. The second guard wrapped him up and dragged him out of the room and down the corridor.

Alex looked on, with pure fear in his eyes as the gun was reloaded and pointed at him. The guard smirked and pulled the trigger a second time...
