E/O Drabble Challenge Prompt words: urgent, normal, follow, flap, and right. It was supposed to be a normal hunt...until it wasn't. One creature didn't follow the written "rules" and the boys need to make an urgent getaway. So much for research, right? Will the Winchester come out all right after such an unexpected flap?

NO SUCH THING AS NORMAL

They'd expected a "normal" hunt. But it had been anything but normal, thanks to a creature that was far craftier than the research had led the Winchesters to believe.

Caught off-guard, both brothers had taken the brunt of its cagey fury, leading to now—Sam urgently tugging at Dean's right hand, urging his brother to follow him and ever faster.

"C'mon, c'mon, Dean. We gotta move!"

Bruised, concussed and blinded by two swollen eyes, Dean was struggling to keep up and cross the uneven ground. "S-S-Stop!"

"Dean, we can't stop. It's behind us!"

"N-No. S-Stop flappin' your gums! I'm comin'!"
