Characters: Sam, Dean
Timeline: Can be any season
Rating: K
Warnings: None
Author's note: What a freakin' awesome challenge, ladies! Right on it, I hope you all like it. A big thank you goes to my husband who was kind enough to introduce me into the depths of automobiles (only to read my drabble afterwards with the comment that there is very very much artistic freedom involved here). Yep. It's art. Thank you, Sweety, love you, too.
On impact with the surface the damper flap was the first to stop it's work, accompanied by the bursting windshield, exposing the shocked driver to the water masses entering the car in seconds.
Dean managed a panicked glance to his right, followed by relieved realization before his head was engulfed by iciness.
He made it out, he's safe.
With his mind growing dizzy and his body getting numb, the terrifyingly normal process of drowning took over. He let it happen.
Until something clawed at him, pulled him, a silent, urgent request to FUCKING MOVE.
Until Sam came back for him.
