Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or any of it's character

Authors Note: I have decided to make this whole story rhyme. It is hard at times, but I intend to do it. Enjoy!

Inuyasha peered through the trees,

At a young woman picking black berries.

She had long black hair,

That blew softly in the air.

Her name was Kikyo and she was a priestess,

Her beauty was priceless.

She had no idea she was being spied upon,

Her figure bent over her mind withdrawn.

He secretly loved this woman

Her beautiful figure hidden behind her apron.

She had a pure soul

And thus his heart she stole

He sniffed aloud as a bee flew by

For on his nose it stopped it's fly.

She turned her body completely around

To see what had made the sound.

She looked over and Inuyasha she found

He was sprawled completely out on the ground.

She laughed and smiled,

He looked just like a child.

She extended her hand to help him up,

And he aided her and got pushed up.

His cheeks were flushed,

Turning red as he blushed.

"I'm Kikyo," she stated,

The half-demon she contemplated.

Her voice was pure,

And his heart it did lure.

"I'm Inuyasha," he said,

While the sinking sun shone red.

They looked at each other

While the wind carried a scent of clover.

It was a love at first sight for her

She had never expected this to occur.

She couldn't talk,

So she began to walk.

"I guess, I'll see you another time," he smiled,

His heart was raging wild.

She turned and smiled back,

She hoped what he said was fact.

They parted ways

Knowing that they would see each other another day.

Both were filled with joy,

Both girl and boy.

They walked back home,

Back through the fields they did roam.

They would see each other again soon,

Under the stars of the setting moon.
