"Sirius! Sirius Black!"
Remus swam through the crowd on platform 9¾.
"Sirius! Are you completely and utterly deaf? Sirius Black!"
Evidently Sirius Black was completely and utterly deaf. Remus pushed a coven of first year out of him way in his haste to get to his boyfriend who doing a good job of disappearing.
"SIRIUS! You useless, bloody, toad-shagging piece of goblin…"
"MR. Lupin!"
"Professor Dumbledore, Sir, Your Highness…Sir! Professor, I was just…Sirius, he…I just…he kept disappearing, Sir!"
Remus turned a violent shade of purple, this was all Sirius' fault – it always was! Maybe if he wasn't so damn irresistible Remus wouldn't have to shout after him like some mothering banshee. And there! There he was sauntering behind Albus Dumbledore without a care in the word. He spotted Remus and gave a cheeky grin, oblivious to all the torment he had caused.
"You do realise, Mr. Lupin, there are first years on this platform uneducated in your filthy slang and matters of wizarding bestiality, and I would rather it stayed that way. I suggest…"
Sirius had hid behind the lecturer, making faces of mock anguish, knowing his partner would be dying to laugh. Remus bit his bottom lip, even when he was pulling those mandrake faces Remus wanted to bite his bottom lip so very much.
"…you remember that you are not at home anymore and I expect only the best behaviour of you. You have…"
Remus stopped listening, instead concentrating on Sirius mouth – his full lips, slightly moist, mouthing little words at Remus – You. Me. Bathroom. I. Missed. You. Please. I. Love. You.
'Yeah good timing,' Remus thought. 'Sirius, an erection is exactly what I need right now. How did you guess?' He decided to ignore Sirius. He just caused problems – problems over the summer, problems at the train station, problems in his pants.
"…been given the position of prefect, is that correct?"
"Mmmm…Oh, yes Professor. I have. Ah."
"What on earth are you staring at boy?"
"Nothing! It's nothing! Don't turn around!" Remus managed to resist the urge to leap on to his transfiguration teacher and constrain him.
"What could possibly make you act in such a strange…oh."
There stood Sirius Black giving what could only be described as an obscene gesture, his arm repeatedly moving back and fourth, following the tongue in his mouth. He quickly lowered his hand as the Professors gaze fell onto him but it was too late. What should he do? He had to say something"
"Morning, Professor. Good summer?"
Albus Dumbledore couldn't move. Astonishment flooded his face as if he had been hit with a stunning spell from behind. He turned his head and very quietly he began to talk.
"I...I give up. We haven't even boarded the train yet and I…" He began to walk away, taking off his half moon glasses and messaging his temples.
Remus and Sirius, united at last, watched in amusement.
"Nice one, Moony"
"No, I think you deserve all the credit, Padfoot"
"I've missed you." Remus said softly, looking down as the awkward first meeting after a long absence began to take hold. Sirius pulled his chin up to look him in the eye.
"I've missed you more." And they kissed, like it was the first time all over again – Here, on this crowded platform where everyone seemed to stand still for every moment the lovers gazed into each others eyes.
