I had a fangirl moment during Salvage. I bet the writers watch SPN, they put Sam in Palo Alto, and I bet he and Arty go to Sanford. So this is how my mind wants the show to go, well.. yeah... Reveiw.
There are parallels to Wally West and Sam Winchester. He just never saw them until Artemis was gone, and he was back at the Mountain watching Supernatural with Tim, Dick, Garfield, and Jamie.
His dad wasn't much of a father in the first place. Sure he still had his mom, even if Sam didn't. He was pretty much the middle child. Roy being the equivilent to Dean Winchester, and Dick being Adam. Berry was Bobby; Bruce, Rufus. Kaldur could also be seen as Cas.
And then he left the hero business for collage. Sam left Hunting for collage. Both went to Sanford and lived in Palo Alto.
Then they both had their girlfriends. Jessica and Artemis weren't that different either. Blond and amazing.
Then there was November 2nd. He was helping Nightwing and when he came back, Artemis was dead, and their apartment burned down. Now he's back in the hero business. He never finished collage, he just wanted revenge for what happened to Artemis.
So maybe Sam Winchester was ficitional. That didn't mean there weren't parallels between him and Wally. Too bad he didn't see it before.
