Hi! This is my second story about Horseland. Hopefully you'll all like it. This is going to be a short one-shot.
Disclaimer: I do not own Horseland, but I own the plot.
Sarah knew tons of things. Like, for instance, when Scarlet or any of the other animals were upset. She knew how to cheer people up. She knew that what was inside mattered more than what was outside. She also knew that everyone has a flaw and that they also are good deep inside, if not normally.
However, the things she didn't know were why her friends, Alma, Molly, Zoey, and Chloe (Yes, she knew that they were nasty at times, but they could be pretty nice) constantly asked her if anything was going on between her and Will.
She didn't know why everyone new to Horseland just guessed straight off the bat that she and Will were an item.
She didn't know why that when she said that she and Will were just really good friends, that they nodded and gave her look that told her that they didn't entirely believe her.
Sarah was pretty sure that she and Will were nothing but friends and that that was all they ever would be. In fact, if she was a bit more confident, then she would have said that she absolutely knew. But, she couldn't look her friends in the eye and say it confidently.
So when his hand lightly brushed over hers while they were training a wild horse, she didn't know why she felt an electric shock throughout her whole body.
Sarah didn't know why her face burned up when he looked at her while he was speaking. She didn't know why she felt like fainting in his arms when he carefully hoisted her up to ride Tigress (the wild horse's new name) for the first time.
When she heard that Horseland was throwing an evening dance party, she knew she was excited. But she didn't know why. She didn't know why Molly, Alma, Zoey, and Chloe all insisted on helping her get ready. She didn't know why they asked what happened earlier while she and Will were taming Tigress. She especially didn't know why she thought of how Will was going to react to her new (temporary) look.
At her arrival, Sarah didn't know why she was happy when Will's face lit up at the sight of her. She didn't know why she didn't go up and talk to Will, like she normally would have.
She knew that it was out of something like embarrassment. And she knew that she probably shouldn't dance at all.
So when Will came up and asked her to a slow dance, she didn't know why she said yes. She didn't know why she felt so happy and content in his arms. Or why she was so excited by his touch. She didn't know why she leaned in towards Will as he did the same. She most definitely didn't know why she kissed him, until she saw, over Will's shoulder, her friends mouthing the words "I told you so". She finally knew all the things she had been pondering about throughout the day by the end of the slow dance. She, Sarah Whitney, was in love with Will Taggert.
Do you like it? I might put a sequel to it or something. Sorry if the whole "She didn't know" or "She knew" stuff bothered you. Yes, I plan on continuing "The Camping Trip", I just wanted this little distraction out of my head.
Please give me your comments, opinions, or suggestions.
