Title: Sunset
Rating: E- for everyone
Summary: Alex and X-23 both like the sunset.

X-23 liked the sunset, it was peaceful, ever since she'd escaped HYDRA she would just sit and watch the sunset rise, she never got the chance to when she was with HYDRA, right now she didn't want to think about that. Right now, she just wanted to watch the sun rise.

She felt something wet on her shoulder, she turned her head and saw Havok, Cyclops's brother, Although he preferred to be called Alex, as that was his name.

X-23 didn't know what it was like to be a name, to have a name. She was a code, a weapon.

He must have been surfing as he had his surfboard with him, he was also soaking wet as X-23 couldn't help but notice.

He pulled his face away to shake away the excess water that had accumulated in his hair.

She wrinkled her face as a stray water droplet landed on her nose.

"Umm, Hi" He asked nervously. She stared at him, "What do you want?" She Grunted.

"Err, Well… you looked a bit lonely here," He paused for a moment to gage her reaction. "So I'd thought I'd join you?"

The look she was giving him made him feel as though he was doing something wrong.

It felt as though the hairs on his back were standing on end, maybe this wasn't such a good idea. He had been told to be careful around her, especially after that 'little' incident where she ended up knocking everybody in the school unconscious, just to try and get to Wolverine, He couldn't say the girl wasn't determined. Yet, Hey that was before he came to the school, so some time had passed, she had to be better now, right? She couldn't be all that bad.

He took a seat next to her, close to her, but not that close to invade her personal space, yet but the look on her face it looked at though he was already.

"So the sunset huh? Pretty cool" he laughed as he tried to strike up a conversation.

X-23 didn't answer.

Moments passed before any of them said anything again.

"It's so beautiful and free" she whispered.

"Yeah, reminds me of Hawaii. You could just catch a wave…and sun would make the water look as though it was shimmering, like some sort of crystal. You could chill on the beach and not have a care in the world."

Alex turned and saw a happy, but solemn look on her face, like it was something out of her reach, and it was too painful to think about.

"Ya know, Maybe I could take you there sometime" He waited for her answer.

Finally, she said. "I'd like that" and smiled.

For the rest of the evening they watched the sunset. Together.

Na, she couldn't have been bad after all.
