A small sigh. That's all that came from the grey-skinned man. No one heard it though, too much excitement.
Dark sat on the couch, not all that excited, and held a glass of champagne. He never got why it was so exciting that the planet finished another lap around the Sun. But he smiled, knowing it makes his lovers happy.
Dark was honestly surprised with one of them.
A man with pink hair sat next to him, Dark suppressed the urge to move away. The man wrapped an arm around him. "Darkiee! Why don't you join the fun?"
"I'm not the type of.. Being to party, Wil.." Dark almost looked away. Wilford frowned a bit, before setting his drink on a table. Dark gave a confused look, before Wilford pulled him up while standing, champagne almost spilling everywhere.
The entity quickly set his drink down. Wilford pulled him close, swaying a bit. Dark realized what Wilford was doing and copied the motion. The pink-haired rested his face on Dark's covered shoulder.
They stayed like this before they heard a rough Irish accent. "Hey! Don't leave me out!" A slightly shorter, green demon tried squeezing his way in between the two, Wilford held in a chuckle. "We'd never leave you out, Anti."
Anti smiled a bit, picking at the wrapping on his neck every now and then. "It's almost time!" Wilford slightly shouted, pointing at the T.V.. Dark and Anti turned towards the screen, and they all walked towards it, standing behind the table. The countdown started. "Ten.. Nine.. Eight.." Wilford and Anti counted. "Seven.. Six.. Five.." They looked towards Dark. "Four.. Three.. Two.." Dark gave an anxious smile. "One!" Dark joined in. "Happy New Year!" They shouted in almost perfect unison. They exchanged kisses. Dark and Wilford, Wilford and Anti, and then Dark and Anti. At the same time, they downed their champagne, then smiled at each other.
Dark never expected to feel so much joy with his ex-enemy and his teammate. Dark thought about giving up on taking over Mark's channel, but hasn't come to full terms with it. He wanted to spend more time with Wilford and Anti. After all the excitement, they went to their shared room, taking off what was uncomfortable, and slowly fell asleep.
The next day was gonna be great.
