Who's Victoria?
Myka/HG
A/N: No spoilers, not really specific in the timeline. Just a little PLT fluff. Please review.
"Not another artifact at a mall." Pete groaned. "The last time you girls wanted to go shopping after we snagged it."
Myka gave him a look. "That was necessary; I keep losing clothes to artifacts on retrieval."
"That's not the only reason you're missing clothes, darling." Helena whispered to the agent.
"Besides," Myka redirected both her partners. "At least it's not Ikea. That place made was a rat maze and it made our warehouse look organized."
"At least Ikea had meatball." Pete sighed, opening the door to the mall for the two ladies.
Myka smirked at him. "You mean the horse meatballs?"
"Hey" Pete shrugged. "Secretariat was tasty."
"Ew." Myka shook off the idea of eating horse.
"So, why are we here?" Helena regrouped. "I mean, shops, food court, it doesn't seem like a place for an antique store."
"I was trying to not tell Pete until I had to—" Myka was cut off.
"Comic book store!" Pete cheered. "Okay, I got this." And hurried off to find the shop.
Helena and Myka kept a slower pace than Pete but followed the overexcited man just the same. "Why is it called a 'mall,' anyway, dear?"
"Because…"Myka smirked. "Why go to one store, when you can go to them all?"
"Really?" Helena laughed.
"That's what Claudia told me." Myka replied, window shopping a little. The artifact hadn't caused any big problems, just caused a little mischief if people spoke Klingon while holding it.
"You know," Helena began, looking at a few department store as they passed. "Shops really have changed since my time."
"I bet," Myka laughed eying two teenagers as they exited Hot Topic.
They walked in silence for a moment before Helena asked "Who is Victoria?"
"Who?" Myka asked, trying to follow HG's gaze. "Oh." She saw the clothing store that had caught her partner's eye.
"And what is her secret?" Helena murmured, starting towards the store to get a better look.
"She's a…it's a lingerie store." The agent said, feigning disinterest.
"Really?" Helena replied gleefully. She walked towards the store front. "Shall we pop in for a moment? Try on a few things?"
"Uh, we're," Myka stammered, finding the idea of watching HG try on underwear less than unappealing. "We're working. We should probably—"
"Indeed." Helena raised a suggestive eyebrow. "Perhaps later, then?"
"Uh, yeah, maybe." Myka steered the Victorian back on route. "We should probably make sure Pete didn't activate the artifact, now."
"Yes, the sooner we get this done the sooner we can move on to more enjoyable activities." Helena smirked as she picked up her pace.
Myka stopped in her tracks and blinked. "Yeah, yeah, that sounds—" She ran to catch up to the Brit. "Let's go snag and bag this thing."
"Righty-ho, then."
