Juniper Woods folded her hands, and then stepped up into the stage nervously. She was donning the robe that she had designed for the school festival's special event, and was going to sing while Klavier Gavin himself played the guitar. She looked up at the former rockstar, who had already climbed up onto the stage, and then gulped. She made sure that she'd be prepared for this. She was student council president. She was strong. She was not the same weak girl from middle school anymore.
She could do this.
Klavier smiled at her before turning towards the crowd, earning a loud cheer from them. Juniper admired how confident he was about this, but that was to be expected from a former rockstar. He wouldn't feel anxious about performing in front of a number of people, unlike her.
"We've got a special treat for all of you," said Klavier as he sat down on the edge of the stage, his legs crossed as he placed the guitar down on his lap, "a love letter for Themis Legal Academy."
Juniper stood in front of the microphone, and then looked at the crowd nervously. She could see a few of her friends, but...
Klavier flipped his hair back and smirked, "Achtung, baby. It's time for the Guitar Serenade."
There he was! Apollo was standing at the very back with Trucy, Athena, Hugh, and Robin. She smiled, her cheeks tinting pink. Apollo's presence helped soothe her nerves a little, and she felt more encouraged than ever. His smile always made things better, like a bright sun shining in a cold day. She felt like nothing else mattered at that moment, and she forgot that she was ever nervous. She'd have to perform the right way that night no matter what.
Just as Klavier began strumming his guitar, she could see that Apollo's smile was growing wider. Trucy was glaring daggers at him, her hands on her hips. She was clearly telling him something, but Juniper couldn't hear it. Something was up...
Regardless, Juniper intended to see through to her performance. She gripped the microphone, opened her mouth, and then-
"Hit or miss!" Apollo shouted at the top of his lungs, his gaze fixed on Klavier, "I guess they never miss, huh!?"
The music stopped, and Klavier's gaze shifted. He was no longer wearing his signature smile, and it was instead replaced by something incomprehensible. It was as if Klavier himself did a one-eighty.
"Ach, Herr Forehead!"
THE END.
