He ran down the hall of pure darkness, turning any and every corner he had made it to. His breathing was becoming staggered, and his lungs felt like they were on fire with how fast he was running. An evil laughter roared through the darkened halls of this...school? Was he having another nightmare about high school?

"I'm graduated! Why am I still in high school?!" He yelled as he turned another corner and stopped in his tracks, surprise entering his face. A girl stood before him, with pink hair up in an unusual hairstyle of two long pigtails starting at the top of her head, with two pointed buns on either side. She wore a pink gown and was holding a wand that had a pink base, and a diamond crescent moon shaped head. The only thing he couldn't see was her face.

"Time to die!" The sinister voice spoke up, making the man spin around out of fear to see a man in all black, holding a sword in his hand. His glowing red eyes spread fear into his body as he stared, feeling his heart start pounding out of the anxiety he was experiencing.

"Please..." A sweet voice spoke up, making him look behind him, with his back still towards her. "...you have to help me!"

Kaz woke up in his bed with a scream as he shot up in a sitting position. His breathing was heavy as cold sweat beaded his forehead. "The heck was that?!" He asked himself before swallowing the lump that was in his throat.

"Kaz, are you okay?!" Oliver's concerned, yet tired, voice spoke up, making the young dark brown haired boy look over at his best friend, seeing him sitting up in his own bed as well.

"Yeah, Oliver...I'm fine," Kaz began with a grin towards his friend. "Just go back to sleep." Oliver just yawned as he plopped back down on his bed, drifting off immediately to a nice slumber. Kaz sighed as he looked away from his best friend's sleeping form and looked out the window, seeing the glowing full moon high in the sky. It seemed to have sparkled more to him.

MIGHTY MOON

Episode 1 – Back to School, Sailor Moon

Centium City High School. A more prestigious high school than the one that Kaz and Oliver had gone to back in their hometown. It was a high school based around the performing arts, as well as those need to get their grades up. And Kaz was one those kids who needed it.

"I don't know why I have to be here!" Kaz yelled like a rebellious teenager. "I mean, I was able to graduate!"

"Yeah, but Kaz, our old school sent a letter saying that you needed to continue," Oliver began as he handed his best friend his book bag. "Mainly because you graduated with some credits not completed."

"And what credits did I not complete?!"

"All of them!" Oliver yelled, making Kaz freeze at that statement. It's true. He didn't really do his homework or his assignments like he should have and he did regret most of it. But to be fair, he was working at a superhero hospital for the majority of his school years. He was surprised that Oliver was able to handle both the way he did.

It's also been more than a year now since he, Oliver, and Skylar all arrived in Centium City to join the Elite Force with Chase and Bree Davenport, only to have it be disbanded after while because Skylar Storm was called back to her home planet. So now, Oliver and Kaz were alone in a different city, a long way from their family, with Kaz now having to go back to high school to finish his education.

"Now fix your tie, and get into the school. You don't want to be late on your first day," Oliver broke Kaz's thoughts and made him sigh as she put his book back on his back and fixed his black tie.

The school had a uniform that the student body had to wear. The boys had to wear black dress pants, a white polo or blouse, and black tie. However, they were aloud to wear tennis shoes since the school was pretty big and were most likely going to be walking around to get to their classes.

Now the girls were a bit different. They had to wear a black mini-skirt, a long sleeved sailor shirt with a black sailor collar attached to it, and a red bow on their chest. They were aloud to wear tennis shoes too, but most of the girls preferred to wear either flats or heels. The one thing that was aloud to be different from the uniform was that un-natural hair colors were aloud. And boy were there a bunch of different hair colors in this school.

"Good luck, Kazimieras," Oliver said with a smile, making Kaz look at him again. "You'll be fine."

"Thanks, buddy," Kaz said before taking a deep breath and walking through the double doors of the school. Once inside, his face fell from disappointment to surprise. The school looked like a palace. A chandlier stood in the center of the ceiling above the lobby, as silvery blue lockers stood against the walls like soldiers. There was a little lounge area to his left where some of the students were already taking advantage of and there were a spiral staircase heading up to the second floor to his right. A red carpet was spread on the floor in front of him like he was at some big award show as he walked down it.

"Whoa..." Was all he said as he circled around to look around again, not seeing where he was going and bumped into someone. "OH! I'm so sorry!" He said as he spun back around and saw a young girl with bright red eyes staring at him...and pink hair in the same hairstyle as the girl from his dream.

"Oh, don't be," She said with a slight Japanese accent. "I wasn't watching where I was going."

"Same here," Kaz said with a grin. "I'm Kazimieras Connor...but my friends call me Kaz." He held out his hand for her to shake, making her hesitate for a bit. He noticed and took his hand back. "Japan?"

"Smart guess. Yeah. I'm not used to the whole American customs yet. So forgive me." She said.

"Don't worry about it," Kaz then bowed slightly towards her, making her smile at him and bow back.

"I'm Rini...Rini Chiba."

"Rini...that's different."

"Rhymes with tini," she stated, making them both laugh a bit. "I have to admit, I was a little nervous coming here."

"Glad I could help," Kaz said in return before hearing as the chime of the school bell rang through the halls. "What's your first class?"

"Uh..." Rini began as she looked at her schedule. "It looks like music."

Kaz took his out of his pocket and looked at his, seeing the same thing. Music. "Guess we're going to the same class."

"Awesome!" Rini exclaimed with a smile on her face before she started walking along side Kaz to the music room. Hopefully they didn't get lost.

Back at Davenport Tower on the 110th floor, Bree was sitting on the couch, reading a good book, when Oliver walked back in. She looked at him as he looked at her and grinned before going up to his room.

"What's up with him?" Chase had spoke up from the kitchen, making Bree look at him.

"I'm pretty sure he's missing Skylar," She answered as she marked her spot in her book and set it on the coffee table. "I'm going to go check on him." As she went to walk up the stairs, Mr. Davenport walked in like a jet engine and stopped by the stairs.

"Oliver, get down here!" He called him to him before walking over to the fire place. "I have to show you guys something!"

"What is it, Mr. Davenport?" Chase asked as he walked up to the couch from the kitchen counter.

"This!" Donald yelled as Oliver came back into the room and turned on the TV, showing the news.

"A new speech was made by Crystal Tokyo, Japan's Neo Queen Serenity, saying that all evil has been vanguished from the small city, thanks to the last of her power. Now she wishes to continue her reign until her daughter Princess Small Lady, grows up to take the throne herself." The news anchor said. "And as of right now, her daughter is in America, going to school to learn a new culture."

"Wow...that's great to hear!" Bree exclaimed with excitement.

"It is. I'm glad that Japan is safe at last." Chase agreed.

"If it wasn't for Sailor Moon and her court, who knows what would have happened!" Donald said with a smile.

"Yeah..." Oliver was a bit sad here, as he sat on one of the cushioned chairs in the living room.

"What's wrong, Oliver?" Bree asked concerned.

"I just...wish Skylar didn't leave," Oliver finally admitted as he sat up some in the chair. "I mean, I know she was called back, but..."

"I'm sure she'll come back when things have settled down on her planet," Chase deadpanned as he was checking his phone.

"I know that!" Oliver yelled. "I just wish she would come back now!"

"She will soon," Bree said with a smile and more motherly than how Chase said it. "Just give her time."

Oliver sighed as he went to stand up, only to fall back down in the chair as the earth started shaking like an earthquake.

"The heck!?" Bree yelled as they all ran over to the table and got under it quickly, with Donald and Chase under a doorframe.

Kaz pulled Rini into a door way quickly as the school started shaking too, her long pink pigtails flying behind her as he did so.

"The heck is happening?!" She yelled with worry.

"An earthquake! Don't you get these in Japan?!" Kaz yelled back as he watched everyone get to cover.

"Yeah! But this is no earthquake!" Rini yelled back as her crescent moon shined dimly on her forehead. "Something's not right!"

"How can you tell?!" Kaz kept an eye on things around them, seeing a shelf fall down in the room they were blocking the door to.

"It feels like...!" Rini began as her crescent moon dimmed down with her fear, making it disappear all together. "...I don't know!" Tears tempted her eyes as she looked around, seeing another set of red eyes off in the distance staring back at her, seeing the smirk of her red lips, before she faded out. "No...no...she doesn't control me!" She yelled.

"Rini, are you okay?!" Kaz yelled as he looked at her with worry.

"MAKE IT STOP!" She screamed with tears falling down her face. She knew now what this meant as she grabbed her chest out of pain. She knew what was happening now. Because Japan was safe thanks to Neo Queen Serenity, and the Scouts, America now had to get the unsafe stamp of approval.

A new enemy was waking up. She winced in pain as the symbol of Crystal Tokyo appeared on her forehead, having it turn black and go upside down. Good thing Kaz wasn't looking right now as the black energy bursted into the air, as the black moon disappeared off of Rini's forehead.

Black smoke was swirling around in the dark woods behind Davenport Tower, before it bursted into the air, leaving a black and pink haired girl standing there. There was just one thing about her...she looked just like Rini. Even her hair was in the same style as Rini's.

She opened her eyes, showing off a deep red color and a smirk painted itself on her face. "Now we're talking." She spoke with a soothing mature nature. She then quickly put her hands in the air, letting them glow.

Kaz looked over at Rini and saw her emotional state, which made him jump into action and grab her hand, pulling towards him and wrapping his arms around her in a protective manor. He usually didn't do things like this unless it was Oliver and Bree, since they were his best friends. But he just met this girl! How did he feel like he knew her his whole life?

"It's okay, Rini. I'm here. Just stay calm," He said soothingly as the shaking slowed down a stop. He looked around, seeing everyone coming out of their hiding spots or from under tables. He looked down at Rini, seeing her eyes closed and feeling her shaking out of fear. "Hey, Rini...it's okay. It's over," He spoke softly towards her, making her open her eyes and look up at him.

"Kaz?"

"Hey...it's okay. The earthquake ended," He said as he moved some of her bangs out of her eyes, seeing them sparkle with innocence and wonder. It was like he could see her dreams inside of them.

"I...I'm sorry you had to see me like that," She said as she pushed herself from him.

"It's okay," He began. "Everyone has fears and worries. Yours is just earthquakes."

Rini grinned at him as she wiped away the tears that had stained her cheeks and grabbed her pink shoulder bag.

"You ready to head to class? If not, we can just..." Kaz began when she looked back at him.

"I could use some time to get my thoughts together," Rini said, making Kaz grin at her.

"Okay. Come on," He put his arm around her and helped her to the lounge area by the front doors.

"That was odd," Bree stated as she picked up one of the pictures that fell from a shelf. "I've never felt an earthquake like that before."

"That didn't seem like your normal earthquake, guys," Chase began as he held up a tablet. "I think..."

"You all need to flee!" A voice rose up as black smoke entered the pent house suite of the Elite Force. The four residence looked on as Bree backed up to the wall, watching the smoke rise up in a circle on one spot. And after a while, it faded away, revealing the girl before them, her red lips smirking the entire time.

"Who are you?!" Oliver yelled as he ran in front of Bree in a protective way.

"I'm called many things, dearie," She began as black chains floated behind her. "Dark Moon, Witch, the Wicked...but I prefer..." She shot her red nail polished hand towards them, letting the black chains wrap around the four of them. "...Black Lady!" She laughed evilly as the chains got tighter around them, making Bree scream out in pain.

"Let us go!" Chase yelled as he winced from the tight grasp of the chains.

"I don't think so, honey..." Black Lady began. "My mission is not yet done."

"What mission?!" Oliver yelled as he jolted forward, trying to get out of the chains that bound him.

"Oh..." Black Lady looked over at Oliver, seeing his bright blue eyes staring angrily at her. Her smirk faded into a frown as her own eyes held no emotion. Something about him made her stomach twist and turn, which made the smirk return. It was a small smirk, but it was still there. "...my mission to find you." She then zipped towards him quickly and grabbed the sides of his face with her pale hands, planting a sweet kiss on his lips.

Oliver mumbled against it for a moment, before his eyes flashed red and back. The black crescent moon like Black Lady's appeared on his own forehead, with the chains releasing him from their grasp. A white streak appeared in his hair as she pulled away from and backed up. He stared at her for a moment, blinking in disbelief, before his own smirk appeared.

Diana perked up in Rini's dorm room, her ears twitching, before looking over at her snowglobe of Crystal Tokyo. It had changed to a tower of some kind, and showed a dark cloud above it. She immediately saw the black, blue, and red gown of Black Lady on the balcony on the top floor, looking off in the distance of the city.

"Oh, no..." The little grey cat said before hopping off of Rini's bed and ran to the pink haired princess' duffle bag. She grabbed a small pink box from the bag with her teeth and pulled it out quickly, letting it fall on the floor, opening up, and having Neo Queen Serenity's very first broach fall out of it.

After school, Rini walked up to her dorm room alone, looking over the notes she took in music class, as well as Kaz's cell number. They had become fast friends surprisingly. Helios must have sent him to her for protection because she immediately felt safer with Kaz Connor by her side.

As she entered her room, she saw Diana staring at the snowglobe she brought with her from home. "Diana, what's up?" She asked as she closed the door and turned back around, gasping at the sight of her mother's old broach on the floor.

"Rini, Sailor Scouts are needed again!" Diana yelled as she turned around to look at Rini.

"But they're not here!"

"But you are, Rini!" Diana then jumped towards the broach and nudged it towards the young girl with her nose. "You are 16 now...old enough to use it!"

"But...!" Rini dropped to her knees as she took the small broach into her hands. The gold of the broach felt familiar in her hands, like how her Mini Moon broaches when she was just a little girl. It took back to those times when she went back in time to help her teen mother and father, as well as the Scouts, save the future. But this felt different as well. It felt...right. "...am I ready?"

"You're as ready as your mother ever was, princess," Diana began. "You can do this."

Rini took a deep breath as she stood up and looked at the globe, seeing Davenport Tower in the center of it instead of her home. "Davenport Tower?"

"You know this place?" Diana asked surprised.

"Know of it. A new friend told me that's where he lives!" Rini then gasped at the realization. "Kaz...he's heading home right now!"

"Go! Stop him!" Diana yelled as Rini dropped her bag and ran out the door, with her broach in hand.

Kaz was walking down the street, back to Davenport Tower, when he noticed Oliver standing by the front door, waiting for him. He smiled at him as he started to jog over to him, only to have his best friend look at him, a smirk playing a role on his face. This made the young brown haired boy stop in his tracks and take a step back in fear. One of Oliver's eyes were a blood red, while the other was still its blue color.

"Oliver? You okay, buddy?" Kaz asked as the man in question pushed himself off of the wall and looked him, death in his eyes.

"Oh, I've never been better, Kaz," He said with the smirk from before still painted on his face. "I've never felt so ALIVE!" He then shot a sheet of ice towards Kaz, making the young man jump out of the way.

"Dude, what happened to you?!" Kaz yelled out of worry.

"I found my real calling," Oliver began. "My mom was right...being evil is so much better!" A flurry of snow started to sworm around them, making Kaz freeze a bit before feeling a light hand touch his shoulder. He look over and saw the pink head of Rini by his side, worry in her own eyes.

"Rini?!" He asked. "What are you...?!"

"I knew something was going to happen after that earthquake!" Rini yelled as she stood in front of Kaz, placing the broach on her uniform's chest bow.

"What?! You knew my best friend would become a villain?!"

"I knew something was going to happen...not this!" Rini yelled as the storm whipped through her hair.

"Who did this to Oliver?!"

"Someone I wish didn't come back," Rini took a deep breath before clenching her fists, the storm fading in between the three standing there. The young princess finally got to see what was going on with Kaz's best friend, seeing his one red eye and the white stripe in his hair. "Black Lady did this to him. Her kiss is poison!"

"Who is Black Lady?!" Kaz yelled as Rini held her hand to her chest, letting her heart calm down. She could do this. She was the next to the throne of Crystal Tokyo. She could do this.

"My dark side," Was all Rini said before raising her hand up in the air, letting her nails get painted a pink color by the magic of the broach. "Moon, Prism, POWER!" And with those words, Rini Chiba turned into the hero of Tokyo, Japan...Sailor Moon.

Her black skirt and sailor collar turned into a beautiful royal blue, and the her shirt turned into a white leotard. On her back was a red bow, with the red bow still on her chest as well, holding the broach. Around her neck was a red chocker necklace with a crescent moon in the center and in her ears were gold crescent moon dangle ear rings. On her hands were white elbow length ballroom gloves with red cuffs by her elbows and on her feet were red leather boots, with a white band on the top by her knees.

In her hair now held two bun cups that looked like they were from her Mini Moon form from years ago, as well as the two hairclips from those years. Her forehead held the gold tiara like her mother's, only difference was the red gem didn't exist. Instead, a gold crescent moon was placed in the center of the gold item.

She opened her red eyes again and looked at Oliver's surprised face. "You've messed with the wrong city, Black Lady!" She yelled. "I stand for love! I stand for truth and justice too! I am Sailor Moon! And in the name of the moon, I'll punish you!"

"We'll see about that!" Oliver yelled before shooting at the ground, making a bit ice and snow monster appear out of nowhere, before he ran back into the building.

"And that's new," Kaz said before looking at Rini, seeing the moon symbol on her tiara before she jumped into action and started fighting the monster with the best of her abilities. He knew that symbol. He had seen it on the news ever since they first mentioned a castle rose up in Tokyo, Japan. He's seen it ever since Tokyo started going by Crystal Tokyo. "It makes sense now..." He said to himself as Sailor Moon back flipped out of the way of an attack. "She's the Princess of Crystal Tokyo."

Sailor Moon grabbed her tiara and twirled around for a moment, before throwing it towards the monster. "Moon, Tiara...MAGIC!" She yelled as the tiara floated towards the monster, making Kaz shoot some fire at it, making it be ablaze before it hit it's target, melting it on the spot.

The young heroine looked over at Kaz with surprise as he looked back at her, the same surprise on his face. "You have powers?"

"Yeah. Fire and heat," Kaz answered with worry in his voice, which made the pink haired girl run up to him and him around the torso, with her head resting on his chest. He hugged her right back, tears tempting his own eyes.

"I'm so sorry about your friend," She said, her voice muffled from his chest.

"Me too, Rini...me too," Kaz replied as a tear finally escaped down his cheek. "I just hope Bree and Chase, even Mr. Davenport, got out in time."

Black Lady was watching this exchange with unamused eyes, hearing Oliver enter the room again. "It failed, Dark Ice," She spoke up from the balcony, making the young man look over at her.

"So what?! They'll be gone by next week!" He yelled as he looked over at the new cage area, seeing an unconscious Chase, Bree, and Donald laying inside. "So now what?"

"Now watch," Black Lady said as she delicately touched the railing of the balcony, letting a dark color spread around it like a fire. The logo at the top had changed to a black crescent moon, upside down, and the living area she was in turned into her throne room, dark and evil just the way she liked it.

"Nice," Oliver said with a smirk as he crossed his arms. "But how is this going to...?"

"Patience, Dark Ice..." Black Lady began again as she walked into the room, her red heels clicking against the tiles. "When the time is right...we'll strike again."
