Men.

I hate to sound cliched, but they're all alike. One minute, your best friend, the next, a drooling hormonal monster.

Men.

I mean, sure, guys have their rights to do...whatever it is they do when they're obsessing about complete strangers, but can't they be a bit more selective?

Okay, I'll admit that I'm being obsessive about all of this. It's just...sigh Dawson's my best friend, y'know? Since forever and a year ago. And for all this time, he's been around for me. When my dad got arrested, when my mom died, he was there to make me smile. When I fought with my sister, he listened to me complain. We could talk about anything, for hours and hours.

Now he'll barely give me the time of day.

It's the blonde. What's her name -- oh, yeah, Jen. She's all he talks about now. Jen this, Jen that, blah, blah, blah. Gag me. And what's worse, his neanderthal friend, Pacey, is encouraging him.

Men.

I should have been prepared for this. I mean, it's a well documented fact that once puberty hits, guys stop thinking with their brains. I should be thankful Dawson's only succumbing now.

But why her? I guess she's pretty and all, but Dawson barely knows her. He should be looking for someone who understands him, someone he can really talk to, someone like....

I don't know. Just someone else.

Whatever.

Fini.
