******Ls point of view******
I looked around the room for Roger, "Over here, Roger" I said, trying to get past all the kids running around, "You called me, you said i had to do somethinf important and you would tell me more when I got here, so what is it?" i asked, direct and to the point. Roger sighed, "I have some family matters in Scotland, and Watari is doing something in Japan. I need you to babysit these kids for a few days.
I shook my head, "You made me come from Germany, solving a case where political figures were disappearing and being found exactly seven days later...with some animal shoved in where there main organs are?" he sighed heavily, "I'm sorry L, but we need you..." I am not a people person, but it looked as if he were close to tears, "Ok, ok, Roger, I'll do it." Roger immediately brightened and said "Here are the keys for everything you could possibly need, we stoked up on cake for you, everything should run smoothly." I hoped everything would go as planned, or I will be having a very, very bad week, at 70%, the odds were on my side and Roger left in his car and closed the door and I looked back at all the kids doing something. I can barely handle people, how will I handle all of these children?
"HEY, HEY STOP!" I said as I chased after a Mello, with a chocolate bar in his mouth and wouldn't go to bed, most kids just went to bed, maybe cause they had some common sense? But no, not Mello, near was just watching twirling his hair as I chased Mello around, Mat, playing his Gameboy in the corner eating cookies, how will I get him to sleep if hes hyped on sugar? Mello stopped to catch his breath and I tackled him, shifting in the air so he landed on me, and he was safe, we landed with a hard thud, I got up, picked up Mello with his protests "L, NOOOO, I DON'T WANNAAAAA GO TO BEDDDD!" Even at this age i knew how he ticked I said something that would really make him sleep, "If you don't get any sleep, how will you ever beat Near? You'll always be too tired and won't give it your all and not try as hard as you could if you actually slept like everybody else, your young, you need sleep." I added the last part, I barely ever slept until I fell over sitting and slept that way only to awake a few hours later continuing my work for the same area I fell in.
Mello calmed down and said, "Fine, I'll sleep, SO I CANT BEAT YOUU NEAR, NAHHHHH-NAH-NAAA-NAHHH-NAAAAA" He said sticking out his little tongue and ran to his room and shit the lights off and (hopefully) went to bed. I gain back my hunched position. "You too Mat." He looked up like he just realized we were there, "Oh yeah, ok, I just beat it anyway, night Near, night L." he went into his room too. I sighed in relief. I went, picked up Near and his toy robot and brought him to his room and set him on his bed and tucked him in, "Night Near." I said and I kissed his forehead and his cheeks tinted slightly pink. "Night-night L" He said his eyes drooping.
I survived Day 1, whats next? Bring it.
OK, reviews and tell me what life should throw at L during his week of baby sitting, L is like 18 and the kids are about 6, remember they are smart, so they can do anything to devious-to full out childlike and stupid, XD SEE YA NEXT CHAPTER YOU CRAZY KITTY CATS THAT WEAR TOP HATS LIKE SWIM WITH DOLPHINS.
