Zoe woke up from very bright sunlight. Summer. She opened her eyes slowly. The purple spaniel shielded her eyes from the sunshine. Zoe stretched her arms and legs. She hopped on a chair and looked out the window. She inhaled the summer air.
Suddenly, brownish-orange looking hedgehog filled through her mind. My gosh. Zoe kept on thinking about Russell ever since Summer started.
Flashback:
Blythe waved goodbye to all of the pets. The pets stared at the window pressing their faces against the glass window display. Zoe tapped Russell on the shoulder before he started crying. He didn't say anything. He just threw his arms around Zoe and cried.
"I miss Blythe." Russell said, still hugging her. Zoe wanted to pat his back, but remembered that he had quils. So she just hugged him by the neck. "Aww," The pets said.
End of flashback.
Zoe shook her head. "Oh why am I thinking about that hedgehog?" She jumped off the chair and landed on the floor safely.
"ZOE! IT'S TIME TO GO!" Zoe's owner called.
